Probably gotta set myself some goal as motivation or something. As for books, I agree with you. I had a look at some they offer in the shops here, but I didn't like the style there as well. No idea what style I'll end up with if I ever get better, will have to play around and find out I guess. Btw, I also get inspiration from other people's work, namely all the ones in this thread. If it wasn't for all of your great work, I would never have thought of wanting to draw myself :D |

Try copying (not tracing) easy pictures like a chibi. Or work on different sections of an anime character for practice. And you could probably try to find a Japanese "How to Draw Anime/Manga" books cause I like their art styles better than the books they have here. I have no idea for tips on drawing, because I never took art classes and just naturally knew how to draw or something... but there's plenty of people here you can ask for advice. :) |

Using this http://walfas.org/flash/create.swf and some paintbrush + creativity + a session on EoSD stage 4, I made this! Didnt know if it belonged in this thread or if i should make a new one given its not Reeeally Artwork, its more cut paste change a few colours and add some lines and dialogue lol, so i thought i'd post it here and save the mods having to move it to here if its wrong ^^; lol still, hope you like, maybe ill make more lol. |
