We also went over this a bit with the side scrolling beat-em-ups. There are a lot of great games that are great to play but they just don't translate to speedrunning well. F-Zero was a very execution heavy racer and I never managed to do well in it as a kid but without some crazy stunts I can't imagine even near perfect play being a great watch. Harmony of Dissonance with Maxim on its own is good-not-great, but glitch exploitation, quick movement, and precision tech out the wazoo made it a blast to watch.

As explained earlier, that is inaccurate. F-Zero finished, and the runner asked if he could do unscheduled tricks and glitches.
