I see your Lemmings and raise you Lemmings Paintball.
Terrible play control, otherwise great game.

Anyone played Pulseman when it came out on the Sega Channel back in '94?... No? then you should definitely get it on the Virtual Console!. It's totally worth the 900 Wii points!.

Oh yeah, MRC.

No one ever heard of them, because it sucks shit, yet I loved to play it back then because you'd always slide out of control for no reason whatsoever.

Oh, and HEY YOU PIKACHU!

Hell yeah. I managed to beat the game though. Took a few tries, especially in the pinata game.

PIKACHU, THUNDER NOW!

ings Paintball and raise you Faceball 2000.

Have a nice day!

It's really sad, but I've beat that game on all its versions multiple times >=P.
Most annoying enemy imo is Sonar... At least I think that's what they were called.

Disciples was a good series imo.

I've only played 2... It was enjoyable but damn was that game flawed.
3 is coming out soonish in case you don't know btw.

ANYWAY, my beef with 2 was that honestly there was little room for strategy. I mean each race had almost-nobrainer unit choices. Not to mention there was very little reason to have more than 1 army. You basically needed to use just 1 stack an entire game and feed experience for that stack as much as possible, or else get roflstomped by your enemy who fed their army totally instead of spread experience between 2. There was little to no economy management...Somehow, despite these rather large problems. I still had fun playing it occasionally. IMO, if 3 improves on these flaws, we'll have a winner.

Besides, the world *NEEDS* a good new TBS game. It's a dead genre nowdays ='(

That does bring up some other goodies, since we are speaking of TBS...

Heroes of Might and Magic III is in my library of games I am suddenly feeling like digging out...

And then there's Age of Wonders. Fairly amusing series, I think.

And last and possibly least, Warlords Battlecry. =3

Which is an RTS.  :V

Holy #@%#@%.

I know homm isn't obscure by any measure. But Homm 3 is my personal fave in the serieis too.
Age of wonders is excellent. The whole series (why did they have to stop after shadow magic WHYYYY!!!!!), is absolutely amazing. I mean how they differ from so many other TBS games and yet be balanced, challenging, fun, and..just perfect.

Warlords battlecry 1 and 2 are also very cool. I don't like RTS games generally but they definately deserve a praise. WB3 on the other hand....ugh... I don't know/remember why. I just remember I was dissapointed with it.

Did anyone ever have a TI1994A? Most of the cartridges we had were boring educational stuff, but I played a lot of Moon Patrol, Jungle Hunt, and Hunt the Wumpus.

Some fun old PC games of note: Zork 2, Paperboy, Masters of Magic, Commander Keen, and Space Goose, the game that intorduced me to vertical shooters.

I have done terrible things in that game.
