On a "serious" note: I never got affected by Suwako nor her theme. It is probably the only extra boss in the windows touhou series that feels dull to me. Not because it is Suwako and her hat, but just because it is just. . . NOT impressing (music mainly). Thank god Nue showed up to be the clown of the extra, else Suwako was going to be there at the top all alone.
Suwako compared to Flandre, Mokou, Koishi, Yukari is just lol. Seriously, somebody teach her how to be an Extra boss.

Seriously, one can be more awesome than the other depending on the doujins you've read. And admit it, the fanart/doujins/remixes play as much if not a greater role in our overall impressions of these characters than the canon stuff alone. I can't decide. Heck, both of them can punch me in the testicles as long as Spoiler: Sanae comes to lick my wounds after.
