Daiyousei Quest - Greater Fairy: Part 35; The End

--- Quote from: Evil_Nazgul0616 on September 16, 2017, 05:24:19 AM ---Not a question, but an observation:
I'm pretty sure this quest is a record holder on Rumia's for it's sheer post length compared to that of other quests. It might very well be the longest quest in terms of sheer post length in Rumia's. Ever. (Nearing approximately 35000 posts as I speak.)
If someone who has been in Rumia's for a long time (Kilga probably, maybe Pesco) can confirm this, well... How would it feel for you, Miniking? lol

I'm having fun trying to find songs to fit situations, but that's delaying getting to Tashi's questions~ I'm pretty bad at this though as it's not only my first time, but I also know few songs...
But I used to have the mindset that it being so long would seem bad to others. In honesty I'd kind of want the next Dai-Quest (again, if there is another) to be eternal...

Nice to see you, players. My name is Tashi, and I present to you the surprise I've been talking about all this time.
Cross Quest.
This is what happens when I have my imagination fly around freely.
Previously, an agreement with the parser of this game has been discussed between the two of us. I asked him certain things, and he answered certain things. One of those things I said, specifically, was, and I quote:
What's this, you ask?
Mini, you probably can guess what is this all about... but not quite it. After thinking really hard about it, I came to a decision.
It had to be done, and because I liked this game so much.
This... are the true colors of Hikikomori Quest.
Yes, this is what Hikikomori Quest was all about. Since the very beginning, the main objective was reaching Heavenly Cross.
What is this 'Cross'?
I intend to, from now on, run a series of quests that will have the story/elements of OTHER Quests 'crossed' with the story that the specific 'Cross Quest' is about (I create a story and I add elements or fuse the story of other Quests to the one I created to expand it even more). In this case, like I said, Hikikomori Quest's true colors are Heavenly Cross... and in other words, Hikikomori Quest is just a prologue to what Heavenly Cross is (Yes, 14 parts of prologue). AND IN OTHER WORDS, the universe of DaiQuest that Mini created will be one of the quests participating. This isn't a sequel of DQ, by the way. This is some sort of retelling.
However!
Running the exact same game would be boring, right?
That's why, as I add Quests to any Cross Quest I make, the elements/story will be slightly altered to be fitting. And even more importantly... I AM the parser in this chaos I just created. Therefore, things might be... ... 'my style', muehehe~~~
I do still wonder how is it to have two GM's.
Of course, credits will be given to whoever had his Quest added. For the sake of not spoiling which Quests are in, this will be more likely be done at the ending of the Cross Quest in hand. However, this is a special exception (and it's already clear at HikiQuest).
Now, all of the HikiQuest players know why elements of DaiQuest were added to it. This is it.
TL;DR:
Heavenly Cross is the result of HikiQuest and DaiQuest being fused into a single story.
But who knows if there are more Quests in it that I didn't told you about~...?
This was also the reason why I made certain commands that seemed completely strange. I even did, if you recall correctly, one where I said it wasn't parse-able.
If indeed Heavenly Cross comes to light after Hikikomori Quest ends (which, to spoil some of you Spoiler: is actually at some parses of finishing) I don't know how I will do for the possible new players to resume 14 parts to them... but I will do my best.[/center]
... Ergo. Either if this works or fails, I still enjoyed this game. That's an unshakeable truth!
Have a good night, everyone~

It'll be interesting to take part in something I made (even if it's different from it's origin). It'd be like a creator coming down and living as a being similar to the creations already made.

I do not have any questions... Well... I forgot them... Mea culpaaa!
I will be sincere with everyone here. I will speak it loud and clear. The very first reason for me to join this forums was because I saw how much fun one can get at Rumia's and when I saw DaiQuest I was like 'holy hell this is so entertaining. I want to participate in something like this too...'
This was quite entertaining. If you guys notice, it was the Quest I had most attention on. Heck, even sometimes I neglected my own Quest just to have a parse in this one. I even stayed up late at night because tough situations! Here, I realized how much I love text adventures.
And I must ask something to the player base... No, to everyone in general. Mini included:
> Did you expected a fourth player to join after so many parts?
Honestly, I wasn't. Or well, not too soon. I started to read DaiQuest after it was on... part 17? I don't even remember. What I remember, though is the very first 'harsh' discussion I saw was the Youmu 'dream rape' matter. I thiiink I had a post of participation? Dunno'...
I stopped reading DaiQuest since part 8. But not because it was boring or anything but because I didn't wanted to read that and 10+ other parts just to get into the game. Then, a flash of inspiration came:
'Screw it! I will bump into the game without knowing anything of the past 10+ parts! Let it be whatever God wants!'
And there I was! A newbie idiot not knowing what was happening!
Bit by bit I started to get the grip on it... and then I made my first Dai. Yes, the ever-loving 'ExperiDai'!
Okay no...
The reason that ExperiDai stayed with that name was mainly because for pure affection. I mean, even if she wasn't my main Dai, it was still the first I made a manifestation of! Can you blame me?
Things were advancing until I got out of control, much like everyone did (Still love you guys). Dais here, Dais there. Explosions! Bigness! Growing! Warping! Time stopping! Bugging! Fusion! Hentai adventures! Fairies! Children! Dimension travelling! World creation! Everything was out of control! And you know what? I enjoyed it! Hell yeah I did!
I don't regret nothing with KokoDaaaai!!!
Without further ado:
> Thank you, Mini. For making such a fun game and trying to please the player's desires as much as you could. Even if they sometimes upsetted you, you still did it. Not like you had too, but even so you decided to do it. I can't even find words enough to praise you for making me enjoy a reading.
> Thank you, Raf. For being a really nice fellow player.
> Thank you, Nazgul. I admit you were quick-witted. In tough situations you were able to react very quickly, already thinking about ideas on how to resolve them. I was impressed how long your commands could get for the sake of resolving the issue at hand.

Nah! Joke! That's not all! Thank you for being a smart-phoneass in certain situations. I must admit that you are quick-witted and well prepared for things. You indeed saved us in tough situations. ... And the shenanigans thing is for real :P
> And thank you to all the rest of players who participated at the DaiQuest! Even to you, bystanders! Nothing would please us more than know that you enjoye the tale we weaved!
I'm going to cry. This is too much sugar. Cut. Cut!
Damn, with all of this, I don't feel like I helped too much in this Quest... I somewhat feel that most what I did was idle around with other characters and nothing else :V
This will be probably my last post in this Quest. Unless I come up with any questions or I want just to post non-relevant to annoy people muehehe~
Once again, thank you for making me enjoy this story.

Thanks for participating. I didn't expect people to join since it was already underway. But I didn't expect people to drop out either...
