>You take to the air, and find things are markedly less crowded. Still, there is a surprising amount of air traffic, enough that you can't just fly directly toward your destination at full speed like you are used to. You have to slow and stops times to let someone, or the odd kappa flying device, go past. In the latter case, you find it is often quicker to go around them. The view from above is just as chaotic as ground level, below you lies a riot of lights and motion, the streets a chaotic tangle despite obvious efforts to impose order upon them with larger boulevards. Some of the buildings are tall enough to be obstacles to flight, as well! Above you is simply darkness; even from here the lights are so prevalent they drown out the stars. Or perhaps there simply aren't any? Perhaps the ceiling is a giant dome of some kind? It's not impossible, you suppose. In a way, it is quieter in the air, the noise from street level has a little distance to make it less oppressive.
>Soon you locate the Diet Building from the air, and from there it is easy enough to find the Gensokyo influenced parts of Apex, and then the large thoroughfare leading back to Youkai Mountain.

Kilgamayan:

> "I wonder what would happen if we kept flying straight upward."
> Continue onward through the air to the Youkai Mountain entrance.

>"Probably about the same as if you did it back home," says Flandre.
>As you close in on Gensokyo gateway, you see there is a fair amount of traffic coming and going through it. The gate itself probably isn't large enough to fly through without severely inconveniencing people on the ground.

>Not really. But thankfully there is less of a line and more of a crowd coming and going, so it should be find to just find a place to land and join in.
