So I'm trying out the demo for Remyadry

The text is displaying horribly wrong. Examples:

I've never seen issues like this. It doesn't look like normal mojibake, but I don't know what else to call it. I should be in Japanese locale, and I haven't had issues with any other Japanese games for a long time. Does anyone have ideas on how to fix it?

I notice the melonbooks link says "Windows 10" and not anything else. I'm still using 7. Would that alone be enough to fix it?

EDIT: Found the issue. The solution is to change the "format" setting under Region and Language to Japanese, not just the system locale setting. Then text will display as normal.
