The run is pretty hilarious. I perfect the stage until the VERY end, where I die really stupidly. Then I proceed to fuck up Lavatein and Four of a Kind, which made me feel like quitting, but I pressed on and captured everything else but ATTWN, and I only botched that because I jumped the gun for the initial QED shotgun.

A nearly perfect run of Stage 4 Hard in SA. Had two misses. One at the butterfly and one at Satori's final non-spell. Pretty bad performance on that last non-spell. Its so easy, yet i fucked it up. Oh well, i guess i'll be able to get a perfect Satori battle soon enough.

Utusho was - in short - A NIGHTMARE. When I reached Artificial Sun, I had 1 life and a 4/5 because I kept losing lives so I couldn't get any more life pieces.
Funny thing: Artificial Sun is the only card by Utusho I captured.

Late by a week on this, but beat Ran on my fourth try (ReimuB).

Should've beaten her the third time, but I tried to safespot her last card without understanding how the safespot worked, so I just did it the real way on my winning attempt.

...but if someone would like to teach me the safespot, I'm all ears :V

SA Hard 1cc.

Entered stage 3 with full power and no life loss, died to Yuugi twice IIRC, maybe once.

No life loss until Satori, died on Terrifying Hypnotism and clipped BoWaP TWICE.

Screwed up Orin too.
Midboss death(no bombs though), then clipped Spleen Eater two times. It was a 100% capture in practice.....
Not enough power for Small Demon's Revival, so died there too.
Entered stage 6 with 2 lives and 1 power, got to Utsuho with 2 lives and 4 power.

Bombed Nuclear Excursion once(which is really good), second and 4th nonspells once.(died on 4th....same as my Normal 1cc which was close too)
Giga Flare took 2 bombs, but gained them back on Planetary Revolution, also Utsuho decided to be uber cool and stay above me during Tokamak, so I've captured both that and Subterranean Sun.

Only UFO left....actually, screw that.

Also noticed another thing: I always play better after falling asleep in the afternoon because I've went to bed too late, lol.

Seriously. I just try VoWG while still half asleep and capture it out of nowhere.
First SA hard attempt, cleared with 2 lives left.

Okay, so I had an absolutely horrible Reimu A run in UFO (I can't seem to who anyone who isn't a spread/homing type. D:), enter stage 6 with 2 1/4 lives and 1 2/3 bombs.

Burst Green UFO too early, now at 2 bombs.
Death to dodgeball ying-yang orbs.
Gain life from Space Invader Fairies.
Nue gives me power.
Encounter Hiziri with 2 bombs and two lives.
Deathbomb first spellcard.
Die on third nonspell.
Bomb third spellcard.
Die on last nonspell.
Revival bomb last nonspell.
Bomb Demon's Recitation. No resources left.
Capture Air Scroll.
CAPTURE FLYING FANTASTICA. ALMOST CLIP A BULLET WHILE THE MAPLE LEAVES FELL BUT -1 PIXEL HITBOX HELL YEAH!

What are you talking about? Shots turn into point items and a bonus score is displayed at the top of the screen in between Alice's phases. You're acting like the PC98 games are ZOMGPRIMITIVE or something. It's extremely tough, and harder than a lot of Windows Extras, but not impossible.

Well they are ZOMGPRIMITIVE. But that's not what i meant. What i meant was that Flandre and all other Windows bosses have their health bar split up neatly indicating the length of their attack. I like being able to see when a given attack is over with, especially if its one i'm having much trouble with.

PC-98 just have one big life bar representing the entire boss. For an extra boss, that's quite a lot of health to cover in just one gauge.

But it doesn't matter too much to me now. I decided to give it one final shot and beat her. I guess it was the 6th attempt or something. I'm sorry for overreacting but dying because of some random BS makes me angry like nothing else.

But i guess her visual disturbances in the end wasn't enough to keep me from victory.

Congrats on beating her. Alice was one of the most frustrating bosses for me too simply because I kept losing on that last phase so many times. Really though, only her last attack and second purple laser spam seem to be pure luck garbage, her others are all down to skill (with it being very easy to mess up), especially the homing shots of doom, so sometimes taking a break and coming back to a boss can really help.

Because I had a very long time in Advisory class today, I broke my no Touhou month temporarily to do a full run of MS lunatic. It...was terrible. I died in stage ONE, got laser'd by Luize (I think I know why it's deceptively difficult: The laser moves faster than your focus speed can get out of the way), and yeah. Only the max lives I used got me to a 1cc, but there was at least one good thing: I finally captured cheeto lasers. Pretty satisfying.

Ah!!!!! I just came to a realization, why I am losing interest in Touhou. It is not because it has gotten too easy, it's not because I've tired of it...it's because...

OF DODONPACHI! *points finger at physical manifestation of Dodonpachi, who overreacts in a shocked way* The problem is really that while I enjoy Touhou's stages much better than Dodonpachi, the hard fact is that Dodonpachi is a million times more intense than Touhou. The real problem all along is that Touhou simply doesn't make my pulse pound as hard as Dodonpachi, so obviously once my obsession with the game goes away, so too will my boredom of Touhou. I'm really relieved, I thought this was something serious.

Oh, and I 1cc'd Dodonpachi. :V
