Well its not that bad during 1CC attempts but the power system just destroys practice. What's the point if you can't risk dying?

Not really. You can risk dying; because it's Stage Practice. Doesn't matter if you're losing a lot of Power over it either. I've captured various Spell Cards at 1.xx Power before. Besides, isn't Stage Practice supposed to be assisting you until you get good enough to essentially perfect it?

Okay. That's only half of the cast. Maybe she isn't as hard as Kanako even though i have better chances at VoWG than her first spellcard unless i'm using SanaeA and have enough power. Second spellcard is way too hard for stage 2 (Heck, even Fallen Angel Veronica said the card was hit or miss) and the third one... is sort of managable as soon as you know what you are doing. You taught me that! But still... it just doesn't feel like anything that should be in Stage 2.

Well, this is harder to perfect than I thought. First death was absolutely stupid...  Also, as a scoring note, you must bomb to destroy that Blue UFO at the end for a lot of Points.

Now, this doesn't sound like an achievement, but considering the last time I played PCB, which was about a month or so, I only 2cc'd it on Easy, this becomes much of an accomplishment for me.

I was actually worried that I was starting to get bored of Touhou (now that I'm once again at the "nothing left to do" period I'm a little afraid of that), but then I opened up IN and started grinding Fantasy Heaven.

Ah~ If only the rest of the series was still as hard as this~

It did that very well before without stealing my power making some spells much more difficult. Well UFO is most guilty of that. If i want a spell to last longer i can just time it out. Practice purposes is no excuse.

Oh yeah...I also finally captured Fantasy Heaven with the border team. Yeah, I've NEVER done that before. I've always used Youmu and her superior speed. I also discovered how to make it so that the wave at 12 seconds is never impossible.

And yesterday I captured Parasol Star Memories after Kogasa moved to the right.

I wouldn't call it embarrasing. That spell just sucks. Its one of these cards that just gives me the feeling of having better things to do.

Same thing for Fantasy Heaven. Having tried 50 times without capturing it or at least having figured out how to do it killed my patience.

Whoa - Haven't played Touhou in a while, been busy.  Got challenged to a race, with me winning being a pacifist run against Nue.  I then proceed to Pacifist Nue, dying one retarded death on the first spell card while chatting with my roommate and bombing on the blue UFOs (pretty much have to playing pacifist, as far as I can tell), but otherwise have a completely perfect run until Nue's timeout phase on her final spellcard.

What the hell :V I still can't believe I pulled that off...  The rainbow UFOs usually murder me and I got my first capture of the survival card too.  Either Nue's a lot easier when I'm actually awake or I somehow got a ton better while I took a break...  This was my second clear of extra, and it was a nearly perfect pacifist?  What?

Pacifist / No Shooting Nue

Very nice.

I tried it out myself (very rough run overall anyway); ended from a clipdeath on "Danmaku Chimera" because my senses were dampened (by hot weather night). Blue UFO is definitely possible to timeout without bombing. But you have to be quite quick and understand how the Blue UFOs shoot lasers. I'll try to time it out again tomorrow morning. It seems quite interesting.

Seriously considering swapping to Reimu to cheat with the smaller hitbox  :V

Highly highly HIGHLY recommend Reimu.  She made Danmaku Chimera and Rainbow UFOs much easier, as you can imagine.

By the way, your IN run on youtube helped me a lot with not worrying about bombing Mystia's first boss card and evil second boss noncard, and also showed me the correct way of doing pre-midboss stage 3 which was confusing me to no end. And now watching it again I also noticed that in my successful run I panicbombed Ill-Starred Dive and failed miserably against midboss Keine pretty much the same way you did.  :V

I'm glad it helped!  I'm usually so good against Ill-Starred Dive too.... 

About the no-death no-bomb rainbow UFO timeout - how the hell did I do that?  :V  Seriously, the next best run that I had on it took two bombs and a life 

In the end though, I'm really happy with it.

So I couldn't do EoSD extra stage so I decided to do a lunatic run before I called it a night. It was my first time I tried eosd on lunatic and I actually completed it o.O Yes I continuespammed but that doesn't matter in my world  :V

IN lunatic solo Youmu 1cc. The things that cannot be cut are very few, indeed.

Will try again sometime for a better score/capture rate/stages/pretty much everything, but for now I'm satisfied enough with pulling off the 1cc on my first try with Youmu after tearing apart spell practice with her. I was expecting more than the 17 captures I got - as in, "either I capture 20+ not counting last spells or the stages will eat me alive" - but in the end it was just enough.

I nearly captured LFO lunatic unfocused. I lasted all the way until the red phase.

Really, I'm disappointed. LFO was at first extremely difficult, because not knowing the route meant it was up to my reading skills, and in that respect LFO is REALLY hard, definitely the level of stuff like VoWG. However, once you learn it...as long as you don't screw up and have to leave it up to said reading skills, it's easy. And it's not hard to not screw up.

Capped Koishi's first, second, third, fifth, and sixth spell cards, and fell apart at Genetics of the Subconscious. Seriously. That card can go die.
