So I just tried Flandre with Reimu B for the first time...

...and guess what, I beat her. I even made all sort of derptacular mistakes but Flandre is so damn easy it doesn't matter.

Just gave MS Lunatic a try. Got to Alice 4/1, made a stupid mistake or two, got to stage 4 3/1.

There are WAY TOO MANY OF THOSE DAMN KNIFE FAIRIES.

Game overed to Yuki. Incidentally, OHGAWD YUKI WHAT THE HELL

I always got Mai when I beat the game before now, not on purpose. This time...ouch.

With continues, I lost my last life at Shinki. My thought processes were as follows:

Samidare 1cc'd. Replay Attached, rename, etc. Pretty easy really, once you know how to properly shield attacks.

Aaaand now for the Hellish Extra Stage. Oh, and I should get to 1ccing UFO Hard and SSG Normal. =V

EoSD Hard 1cc'ed with ReimuA Gosh, that took very long, on and off. Feels like I earned it compared to all my other 1ccs. Time for PCB.

And MoF Easy is probably the hardest final spellcard on... Easy so no worries I suppose.

Ya know, people often say that Vampire Illusion fights dirty, and they'd be right. The amount of times the attack walls you is just ridiculous, and is bad design. However, nothing's more satisfying than getting walled, and CAPTURING THE MOTHERFUCKER ANYWAY. \o/ Also, it's my goal to one day time out Scarlet Gensokyo without dying. It'll never happen, but one can dream...

Also, I should probably do some 1ccs of EoSD and IN soon. I've 1cc'd both on lunatic before, but neither are Youtube quality 1ccs. Considering I've beaten every stage in EoSD lunatic without dying at one point or another (notice how that conveniently excludes extra), 1ccing it SHOULD be a snap.

So, anyway, I know I 1cc'd PCB Normal before, so doing it again shouldn't be that big a deal, right? WRONG! This time it was with Marisa B, and I actually got up to MAX LIVES a couple of times :3 ...I think I may have had WAY too many deaths against Youmu though ._. As usual <.<;

I just did a pretty good no deaths clear of Yuyuko (clearly she is not as hard as I thought she was if I can do no death clears of her this consistently >_>), but I'm hesitant to record it for Youtube. Because...you know...that...one...run...that...I...didn't...

Good, I can still perform decent accomplishments, despite being too busy with work and wasting my time on other shitty games to play Touhou.

SA Stage 6, No Deaths/No Bombs/No Gapping (not that gapping particularly helps anyway)

Sorry for the double post but it's completely unrelated to the other one, so I thought I probably should.

I just 1cc'd IN Lunatic.

In Stages 1-5, I died a total of four times only. I went into Stage 6 with four spare lives and I would gain another life before facing Eirin. Cut to five minutes later, I'm at Hourai Jewel, 0/0, pressed against the side of the screen literally a few pixels away from a gigantic wall of multicoloured bullets before the attack finally finishes. That was...intense.

That makes four Lunatics down.

...I need a cup of tea. :V

I could beat EoSD extra no deaths, I know I can (I've even reached Q.E.D once), but...I'm not the type of person to grind an extra for a simple goal. See, whenever I get the idea to do something through my head (like capture a certain attack or do it no deaths), I find myself unable to enjoy that stage again until I pull it off. I'm doing my best not to get this feeling for Flandre's fight. The real problem is the stage anyway; I almost always have to bomb at least once.

Also nearly captured Scarlet Gensokyo(got walled at maybe 3 seconds of shooting left) and timed out Scarlet Meister(both Hard :V)

Funny since I can't capture SM or Mega Flare, yet I've timed them out both.

Thanks, and yeah, I guess I did.

I think it's probably due to the first Lunatic I tackled (EoSD) probably being the hardest out of the four I've managed. After EoSD the other three really weren't so bad. Now, SA, on the other hand... that's going nowhere fast. I'll probably end up going through the PC-98 games before I manage that.

Seriously, you're reminding me of myself. After a period of stagnating skill that lasted like 6 months, I suddenly 1cc'd the lunatics of LLS, MS, EoSD, IN, PCB, and MoF all in a 2 month period (I had already 1cc'd SoEW lunatic essentially on default lives)

And accomplishments? Well...I'm believing that a no deaths run of Byakuren is very possible. Her first spell card is still clip-death incarnate (in fact, at this point I'd go as far as to say it's Byakuren's most dangerous spell card due to how hard it is to predict a death if you don't autobomb it), but I'm getting the rest of her first down pretty well, even her fourth non-spell to a point (still rarely capture it). I managed to get all the way until Superhuman (god damn it what happened to me trivializing this spell card?) before dying this run.

And I think I'm also getting the hang of Syou's second non-spell. I think it's one of those things that is easier if you DON'T move unless a laser is coming straight at you. Still no luck with spinning lasers though.

I can make one rotation, but I've never succeeded in making another.

Reason for my low capture rate is because I time it out so often.

I prefer everything to be in Moonrunes tbh.

Oh, and don't worry about me and EoSD, turns out that my game was running ever so slightly faster, causing me to miss 90% of my deathbombs.

I was using stage 5 to test the new patch (works wonderfully as always), but had the worst Syou fight ever, reaching spinning lasers with 1.00 power. I then proceed to suddenly start doing it correctly, and had I been any higher than 1.00 power I would have captured it.

@Baity: The problem for me is more the oval bullets believe it or not. Why did IN give them extremely small hitboxes if they were just going to make them really unforgiving this game?

Believe it or not, I read the bullets ahead of time, and don't even bother to look where my hitbox is; I just keep a note where the general location of the sprite is. If you try to move through the oval bullets while focusing on your hitbox, chances are you'll clip a bullet (psychological effect of incoming laser) or get cut by a laser anyway.

I've captured it (and performed timeouts) quite a few times without even resorting to focus.

UFO normal 1cc! Now with less suck! I think I died...twice maybe? I ended up with so many bombs by Syou I managed to beat her and Byakuren without dying and succeeded in a max lives clear.

Now to do it five more times~ And then, er, MAYBE I'll start trying hard mode.

1cced UFO Easy with ReimuB and Byakuren's last card nearly demolished me.
The rest of the fight was almost perfect, with one bomb at the curvy lasers, if I recall correctly. I even managed to time out her last attack phase ; ;
And then comes her stupid Flying Fantastica comes in and I start out okay without losing any lives until she starts sending out the green cards and up and I lose four lives almost immediately and the stupid bombs are stupidly ineffective and it doesn't even clear the bullets D:
But then I manage to beat her and get to see a Good Ending in English and Byakuren was just awesome.
