I would love some kind of mechanic to spend a shitload of SP to change your character's nature. Most of mine are... pretty fucking unfavorable.

Doesn't Takumi beat Robin one-on-one anyway if you bait him into hitting first? How much damage does a Takumi do to a Robin? Should be enough that you can finish him off with Lyn I would think, but I don't know for sure. I usually kill him with Camilla.

I'm not sure, as I usually don't try to find out and just charge him at melee. The main issue is usually positioning, as always.

My marth is more useful than I first thought in arena. Currently my team is split into the fliers (hinoka camilla caeda) and marth. My strategy involves sending marth off to deal with one group of enemies while I get the fliers in the right formation to buff whoever needs buffing to deal with the wave. He's decently tanky and fast enough not to get outsped. I let him deal with a green or red until he gets to half health then teleport him behind my fliers formation. His auto heal ability kicks in by the time the enemies distracted by marth make their way to my core units, so I have to only deal with about half of the enemy at a time. And he's ready to be used again without dying too so double neato.
The dragon slaying ability pretty much guarantees a win against dragon teams too.

Yeah, all of the dragon slayers running around are a bitch for FCorrin since she gas weapon advantage over them yet they still at least match her damage output. Really shrinks her niche down a lot since she's a lance user who has a huge disadvantage versus a large chunk of swords users and low resistance so she can't easily handle red tomes or red dragons.

She's too cool not to use and she does still have a lot of interesting utility, but I can see why most people don't like her.

Because her weapon is a dragonstone, so she actually turns into a dragon during combat. Male Corrin uses Yato so he doesn't actually appear as a dragon. Wouldn't have been wrong for them to give him dragon typing since as I recall Corrin takes extra damage from Wyrmslayer in human form, but it might have been a little confusing.

100 orbs spent, 2 5*, Kagero and Takumi. Holding a little over 100 orbs now and I'm just hoarding for some time when the sub-5* pool gets noticeably-larger. Because I'm playing this game based on the assumption I'm going to have to promote everyone to 5*. Too bad I don't like PVP and I just do Beginner Arena 3x a day, so I'll never have enough feathers.

In Fates that's definitely not the case. I've lost runs to dudes coming up with Dragon Spirits and smacking Corrin on 30% hit rate with them with the Yato on.

When someone says "I think" it means "I may or may not be right about this". I just couldn't remember if I saw that "green extra damage number" on an enemy with a Wyrmslayer because I reclass Corrin into something that doesn't use Dragonstones at all.

There's no harm in doing at least intermediate so you can get more feathers from your offensive score, especially if you have both Kagero and Takumi.

See that's one of the problems with Camilla... She's rare so I can't get four easily. And, you know, that would be an awful team because she's very situational. I may have to settle for Camilla/Beruka/Selena/Corrin, but I'm still missing two members and that's still a bad team, so whateveeeeer.

Seems like male Robin does a pretty decent job of countering them, and Takumi as well, given that few of the many red sword characters have good resist. Similarly female Corrin and Nowi are good at beating them up, but being dragons means they get hit much harder than they really should because a lot of popular red characters incidentally do bonus damage to dragons. Azura is likely the best character in the game straight-up, so she would be amazing if you have her. As for budget options, Peri seems fairly solid since she handles physical and magic characters both in different ways, and Effie seems popular if a little tricky to use effectively since she's so slow.

Personally I get away without having a direct counter to sword characters by baiting them into first-hitting me with Takumi and Lyn. A Lyn at low health mops up most red characters, and virtually all of them if they have a little chip damage first (like from Camilla).

I'm a little stumped as to which Tiki I should keep. One's a -HP +DEF and the other's a -RES +SPD. The former seems alright, but for the other - I'm not sure if the extra speed is worth the res for what is turning out as my tank.

Is - HP/+DEF or +RES weighted differently than other natures? If you lose and gain an equivalent amount of both stats then that's a pretty shitty deal since you still have the other defensive stat at normal levels but less HP overall,which just translates to straight-up less durability. I suppose it takes less healing to recover from an attack on the correct defense so it's not strictly worse, and some heroes like Lyn arguably want lower HP, but it seems like one of the worst natures to me.

Meanwhile I took the time to grind SP with Lyn in the training tower to finally max out her Spur Speed, which had been at the second-to-highest tier forever since I spent all of her SP on Gale Force. It's actually been making a huge difference. Straight-up turned two arena wins with three survivors into wins with four survivors already. Amazing what +1 speed does, especially on someone fairly slow like Takumi or someone extremely fast like Lyn.

I just had a PVP run where I only lost a single character in seven battles, and it bumped my rank up to the 1000-feather rank. I've been popping in and out of there all week, but I'm nearly in the next rank, so maybe I'll stay there this time. This is basically 50 points below the maximum possible score I can get at this point, so that's good and bad.

Unfortunately I finished my hard arena quests in the process and didn't go to claim my reward until like six battles in, so I wasted some arena wins. Oh well.

They're weighted the same. A + adds 3, while a - subtracts 3. It sounds like the +3 SPD in exchange for RES might be better then.

Probably not worth 2k or more feathers especially since you already have Camilla, but you might try throwing him on your team and trying to run a 3v4. That's my current plan, although I have yet to test whether a level 20 or so 3* Narcian can actually do anything in arena, in which case it might be better keeping him low leveled just to make my matches easier. But apparently a single bonus unit gives 2x to score, so yeah.

I got a Julia, but... dragon units are not particularly concerning to me.

That said, I did get Cherche, who rounds out my flier crew with an axe user. It also gives me a trio of Armorslayer, Heavy Lance, and Hammers all on flying units, because why not

Oh dang. There must either be significant diminishing returns on stacking featured units or rank 4 battles are worth much more, because that alone would make my wins equivalent to last week when I had 3/4 featured characters.

Who's the fourth member of the flying squad? Setsuna or MRobin would probably be solid picks to counter archers.
