>You also happened to overhear a group of villagers talking about how Youkai activities have drastically decreased ever since the Foreign Military came, with one of them saying this is despite the Foreign Military putting little to no focus on Gensokyo's Youkai population.
>The group dispersed upon seeing a Foreign Military convoy driving down the street. At the front of the convoy is an APC, with a soldier on top manning the heavy machine gun.

[Tashi]

>You notice an emblem on the side of the APC as it passes by you. The emblem is light gray with a ring of text surrounding what looked like the head of a horse. More specifically, a Knight piece from Chess. The ring of text says, in English, "Army of the Kingdom of Wonderland"
>Nothing special about that soldier on the APC. He's wearing similar (but not quite exactly the same) uniform as the soldiers you've encountered at Eientei and the village outskirts, and definitely looks like a westerner (and human, as far as you can tell).
>Behind the APC in the same convoy is a military truck bearing the same emblem, with several tightly sealed boxes on its flatbed. Behind the truck is another identical-looking APC. No other vehicles are behind.
>The convoy then passes by you without slowing down.

>That's when you notice many of the villagers have suddenly decided to walk toward the same direction as you were.

>"They warned the entire village about something called 'Lunarians' being more dangerous than every Youkai in Gensokyo. What are they going to tell us this time?"
>"There are claims that they've just captured one of these 'Lunarians'..."
>"Apparently on the previous day, at the Hakurei Shrine! They had to use extreme force to capture this one!"
>"Oh my! I pray to the gods that the Hakurei shrine maiden is all right!"
>"Should we attend the speech?"

>You then notice what appeared to be a heavily armored prison transport vehicle escorted by three APCs turning around a corner further down this street, and continues toward the same direction many of the villagers were going to.

>You arrive at what you believe to be the town square.
>The amount of villagers gathered here started out small, but slowly grew in numbers with each second that passes. Everyone are facing a wooden stage that has a podium on top of it.
>You see two soldiers of the Foreign Military standing guard to the far left and far right of the stage, with their assault rifles to bear. Thankfully, you're far away enough from them that they won't see you standing among the growing crowd (and even then, they won't be able to see through your disguise from that distance).

>You're on the far side of the crowd, the furthest position possible from the stage and podium in the town square. And all the soldiers in the town square are stationed around the stage, which is on the opposite end of the town square. So there is no need to relocate.

>You see six people, one of who appears to be a woman, dressed in the attires of modern military generals. All six of them are, with their back against the stage and crowd, facing someone who appears to be handcuffed.

>You can see that the generals are saying things to Toyohime. You can't hear what is being said from this distance, though, and the noise of the growing crowd doesn't help either.

>The generals appear to have finished their speech with Toyohime. After that, they turned around and walked onto the stage escorted by six soldiers with submachine guns.
>One of the generals stood at the podium, with two of the aforementioned six solders standing guard by him. This general is denoted by a staggering seven-stars, two rank higher than the other five general's five-star ranks*¹.
>The seven-star general clears his throat before beginning his speech. Apparently there is a microphone built into the podium, so the speech is loud and clear without him needing to shout.

>"Inhabitants of Gensokyo, both humans and non-humans. As you all have been told, the Lunarians have set their treacherous eyes upon this land and its innocent inhabitants, seeking to wipe it all out merely to further their ideology. A very obsessive, evil ideology, called 'Purity', that they have their entire population grow up in. An ideology that tells them to exterminate all of us simply because we exist. We will destroy that ideology of evil and all its followers, and we will be this land's first line of defense against them. We will keep on fighting the Lunar Kingdom until either side ceases to exist."

>The seven-star general turns around and nods to one of the soldiers in a commanding manner.
>This soldier nods in acknowledgement before going to the back of the stage to get Toyohime, forcing her up the stage by holding her at gunpoint.
>The seven-star general points his left hand at Toyohime before continuing his speech.

>"This is one of the aforementioned enemy: a Lunarian, a citizen of the treacherous Lunar Kingdom, follower of the 'Purity' ideology...And enemy of all life in Gensokyo and the world. We will turn the 'Purity' ideology against her and her countrymen. We will make their precious 'Purity' ideology their own downfall, their ultimate downfall."

>You then notice the look of horror on Toyohime's face...
