Whenever cracks appear on its surface, it is about to evolve."

>The kricketot clacks its antennae together a few times before several small, green balls surround it, which it then fires at the cascoon.
>"Tough it out and use String Shot!" the wealthy kid commands.
>The cascoon takes the hit, its protrusions extending to prevent itself from getting knocked back, before a thick strand of silk is fired from a space between its eyes.
>"Dodge it."
>The kricketot tries to leap out of the way, but is caught by the silk. It's soon wrapped up and seems to have trouble moving.
>"Now that it's slowed down, bombard it with Poison Sting!"
>Several small, dart-like needles are then shot from the same spot between the cascoon's eyes.
>"Counter it with Bide!"
>The kricketot braces itself and begins glowing slightly. The darts soon begin to hit it, and the glow gets brighter and more red as each dart hits.
>Suddenly, after one of the darts hits, the kricketot briefly flashes purple and starts bending over, it doesn't look so good... The cocky kid starts looking nervous.
>"Oh no! Buzz, you've been poisoned! Just tough it out, okay!"
>The kricketot nods as it continues to endure the stream of darts.
