Decided to finally take a shot at Arena 2 after putting it off forever.

I didn't clear it, but now I know for sure that I can. Got to Kali and died to her opening attack because I got an unfortunate series of skyfalls against DQ Hera and knocked her down to her kill zone a few turns earlier than intended. I shouldn't have bothered to use Charite on her, and if I hadn't I probably would have won. Oh well, I think a few more tries should do me. There are definitely bad spawns that could be a problem, especially back to back, but for the most part I think Arena 2 is reasonably manageable with Gabriel. It just, as always, take a while.

Good luck there! I just started attempting arena 2 with awoken catte too. Seems like we have similar goals :V (first special dungeons now this)
Got pretty close (got to kali twice now, one of the runs dying to her under 5% attack)

It'll probably be even easier when you guys get the Maniac mission badges, but yea I remember Arena 2 seeming so impossible back when it was out but the game's inflated a lot since then, huh.

What I really need is fuuuucking ultimate Alrescha. All the other colors get their ultimate constellations, but no Alrescha ever apparently. No question, I definitely would have won with an extra God Killer. Oh well, I'll get there.
I made a PADHerder. It's probably out of date though.

This took me far far too many tries.  Ugh.  (Kept messing up the 6c at the end)

Descended Challenge Infinity/Water Main Att Prohibited all-clear!  Amazing how hard stuff gets when playing teams one isn't used to or ones with few plusses.

Rolled once more for I dont even know what reason and all I got was Misery.  I'll keep her but wow I have no use for you.  Neat art so I guess it's ok and maybe I can do something stupid with her 3500 autoheal.

Yeah, I look at Misery and instantly want to make a crazy turbo-autoheal team with Michael and Grodin on there too. But Misery just isn't really a suitable lead as far as I can tell. That team would have awful utility, consistency, and survivability, even if it would be hilarious.

Hanging onto my Misery just for cool art and the hopes that she ends up being a relevant sub some day.

Notably, if one can skill her Misery skills down to 5 turns, a decent CD for inheritance.  I might look into if I can exploit that sometime for sub applications.

I did a halloween pull after clearing the whole Descended Challenge with Ana. Parvati Get.

Don't really play anymore and don't have much reason to use her, but she's a cute at least

And now I'm back to saving stones for Heroine REM. Hopefully that gets me better than 2 golds in 14 rolls.
Hopefully that gets me a Meridionalis.
And a Kuvia.

Is... PDX reporting correctly that C9 and C10 are the same except 9 is harder because it has a fixed team? That seems really odd.

This is exactly the case it seems! And apparently the next one will be like that as well, putting you with an awoken okuni team.

I'm guessing these are like how certain Granblue Fantasy special missions are where they're intended to be some kinda showcase or something to entice people to try for whoever is featured.

I don't like rainbow leads so lv 9 is probably gonna be annoying, especially when I was planning to slightly slow down on PAD for a while to give my videogame backlog some attention...

At least cooping it is a sound choice if you want to cut yourself some slack! Plus the team, even if not too optimized in paper, is built around dealing with the dungeon specifically (just as the yang guifei team of last time had answers for every enemy).

Sherias Roots is actually pretty solid and the team they give you has an answer for pretty much anything in the dungeon

You just need Green Odin TAMADRA not to bind anyone important :V

Uh yeah Sherias Roots God Killer means the first floor should be trivial. His true damage active means you can kill one predra, and the RCV boost means you can potentially kill the second predra through 1 hits alone. Potentially. You might have to use a second Roots eventually.

Zeus and Hera aren't bad? But they'll bind Kanna as their warning shot, who you need to kill Genbu on the next floor. A full leader activation plus a light TPA (could) kill Genbu but I used Kanna's enhance to be sure.

Lifive is a god, wreck his face. Here's hoping you have a Roots ready because Beelzebub preemptive ;)

Then Nordis is there just for getting past Kali's "you ded" phase.

Yeah C9 ain't bad but you know

Just happened to notice PredDras up while I was on my lunch break. That's two of them pretty close together. Couldn't co-op because I was at work. Oh well.

Back up to 300k MP, but I think I'll be earmarking that for eventual Evangelion collab revival in case there's something cool up in the MP store from that. Might be a loooong time, but that's fine I guess.

9 is NOT harder. That is a team specifically built to answer everything in the dungeon. 10 is harder if you haven't built up cards that work better.

My first c9 attempt ended super quickly as one of the roots got bound and the next turn it got bound again ;;
E:

This came after me somehow getting Beelze to about 5% left forcing me to use both Roots in a row. Thankfully the field was left good enough to Nordis -> Kanna to leave me on survivable grounds. That and Susanoo making the stall a bit less dangerous.

"Harder for those who dont run rainbow" is probably a better description.  It's like the most recent fixed ranking turned serious because everything can easily kill you if you aren't ready for it etc.

Meanwhile Alnair just got the Diadem treatment of 3rd row and 2nd SB. Not bad, sure, but would have liked seeing something more unique. It kind of takes away the interest of these "roll to buff" events. Why not do one roll and give the whole pantheon/series their equivalent buffs?

That would be much more preferable to me, a person who is driven crazy by lack of symmetry. But even that seems kind of silly. I would rather they just buff stuff that needs to be buffed. Something like this for like, a new cosmetic art evolution would be better in my opinion. Especially if the art was super goofy and/or cool.
