With the first week of preseason in the books, it's time to officially acknowledge that football is indeed back baby! Like last year I'll have a write-up of the Panthers posted before week 1, but I'm cautiously optimistic this year. We'll probably win the NFC South for the 4th straight year, but beyond that it's murky. Pressing questions: * Will Tom Brady lose his starting job to Jimmy Garoppolo, or will he lose it to Jacoby Brissett who will beat out Garoppolo in camp? * Will Favre come back now that he's in the HOF to sling it one more time? * Will the Browns finally be relegated to the CFL? * Will the MVP finally be awarded to the most deserving recipient: The Troops? * Will the AFCCG not be Patriots vs Steelers? The Chargers got kicked out of LA so now they're crawling back to San Diego. Also they lost their best player. 6-10 The Rams have now moved back to LA and are back to being the hometown heroes. They got the most exciting draft pick last year and got a QB this year. Prepared for the 8-8 for the next 8 years and losing to the worst team and beating the best one every year. The Raiders are possibly going to move here, which means more traffic around where I work because they're going to build the damn stadium across the freeway from the strip. Good young talent on the team and plenty of upside, and the rest of the division is still ass. Possible play off run for them. Which one do I cheer for?! |
