Wait, okay, missed the fairy tale buff somehow. What the fuck? Is that an ultimate, or is that just what 5*s look like now? I do expect to see the same buff on the rest of them soon.

YamaP rolled 5 things in the godfest earlier today and all of them will receive buffs. No new ultimates or evos, just flat out game-changing, ridiculous buffs because all the stuff he rolled was so outdated.

It is unknown if the others in their respective series will receive buffs.

PAD's not just about multipliers. Not by a long shot. Usually you just need to hit in the multi-millions and you're good. Anything else is just a waste.
Granted there are very difficult dungeons where enemies have massive truckloads of health, but a comically large multiplier is absolutely no free ride through those since a spike team will definitely crumple the second it runs out of fuel. Not to mention things like resolve and preemptives.

Heart Crosses can let you tank pretty much everything in the game

Fair enough, i do use A. Venus, which gives out the same effect as a Heart Cross against Water/Light/Dark, and it is a pretty big change in gameplay, so i'm happy it's out here, but what makes me a little uneasy is how will this affect power creep.

Also, heart crosses can't let us tank anything sadly, accursed 500% gravs and Dragon Flower-ish nukes. ;-;

And i also want those buff for the rest of the Fairy Tales too.

True, as much as Raphael's AS is useful to me, it still has a pretty long CD, and unlike Gabe he doesn't enhance the hearts he makes. (Granted he makes a whole board of hearts.)

Yes. He has row x3, skillboost x1, lock resist x1, autoheal x4. As do Michael and Uriel.

My current Gabriel team is extremely skill lock-vulnerable, with a craptastic one lock resist. Was he given another one I would definitely swap out Reine for Alrescha on a case-by-case basis for 80% lock resist. That would put me one skillboost down though, so it would be nice to regain it with another skillboost for Gabe.

Honestly a heart row doesn't really matter that much at this point, since Snow White has that under wraps at this point. I would prioritize skillboosts, lock resists, orb enhances, and maybe even weird stuff like poison resists above heart rows at this point.

There was a time when bind resists and a heart row were my biggest wants for the angels, but that was before fairy tales became cool. Still wouldn't be bad, but I would rather have different things now.

Color filler for some kind of rainbow team I imagine. Not sure which one, but her active is more rainbow-friendly if you need to fill out red and bind clear for some reason.

So most of the time when I snap a screenshot on my android it's saved as a black screen, which I assume is gungho's way of blocking little cheaters from using their auto-solvers. Is there some consistent way to circumvent this, some screenshot app people are using?

It's been an ongoing problem but I've been tinkering with it for the past quarter hour and it's been working now, kind of. Like I actually have to 'warm it up' before it decides to start working for me. It may actually be the case that my phone sucks so hard that when the screen shot application is called to open at the button presses, there's such little on-board memory in my phone to both handle the opening of quickmemo and pad at the same time that pad is forced to relinquish some of its hold on main memory or whatever or maybe it even freezes for a moment, effectively making the screen cap a black screen. I hope not because if so all my wows

Btw Quickmemo can die in a fire for not being able to be disabled.  That bottom of screen menu thing popping up has screwed my matches far too many times.  I play poorly enough without that stuff happening too!

If you want to kill an app that you can't disable you can install a custom recovery (I recommend TWRP), which allows you to disable ANY app. This is not the same as rooting, since it does not interfere with regular phone operation or introduce security issues. It's also undetectable by the OS since the recovery interface is separate from Android.

Among my most-wanted cards right now are the blue dragon swordsman and the blue elemental. I just noticed it's Gala of Tides and they're both in it. How insane of me would it be to wait for the godfests to end before doing several more pulls? Is that just a bad idea or actually pointless?

Her color has nothing to do with anything and she's still super situational at best.  Probably the least relevant change of the bunch I'd say.

Also it was a dark gala in JP i think, so naturally more dark stuff popping out is to be expected.  Dark bias is real, but this ain't it.

Yeah, that's like, 80% a joke. And 20% an accusation that they deliberately picked a dark gala to do this, but honestly it doesn't bother me that much.

What does bother me is the potential for all of these buffs to seriously actually be one-offs and break all of these series' symmetry, but I don't expect that to be the case long-term. I hope...

Ah, sorry, guess I was being hypersensitive on that, haha.

I am also a bit concerned over the symmetry breaking though.  I mean, the pantheons get enough of that occasionally, we really don't need the other pentads getting it too.

If all the weapons got similar buffs(second type, stat boosts to match) I think either, strangely enough, Claymore or Shotel would be the most likely to benefit the most depending on WHAT type each of em got(and thus their associated stat boosts).

The fairytale girls all getting the same treatement or similar compared to Red would be amazing though.  They really ARE gold-tier anyway, but this would just be incredible.  They're like a "antitroll silver" if ever such a thing existed which I think is cool, to match with some of the "troll golds" that exist.

You know it's funny, Riding Hood is the one Fairy Tale I don't have. Red is basically the one color I don't play at all though, so it's not like I have a team that's anxiously awaiting her or anything.

Actually despite having multiple cards from each series in question, I have zero of the buffed cards. Unless I have a Claymore somewhere and forgot about her.
