You promised to behave with said powers. You doubled this amount thanks to Alice and even figured out a new concept; fusion. By giving some energy to someone, they can use that energy's path for them to give you theirs. It seems like you can't take it by force though, as it won't budge at all, and you also have a limit on how much magic your body can hold before you pass out and everything goes back to normal.
