edit:Actually, wait, this is hard. Chen knew we were going to meet up with this person and she's still going to wake up sooner or later and have things to say, and that's Ran right there too. We should think really carefully about what we're gonna say :S It's going to be bad if people find out we're outright lying about this stuff.

...I forgot they knew that much about what we're doing. Ran also -knows- we're supposed to have Chen with us.

Awkward.

It might be best to tell the truth as much as we can without revealing that the person we're supposed to meet was Sariel (even reveal Renko other there), but "supposed to meet someone here" is a really suspicious reason in itself, Chen is unconscious, the list goes on.

Alternatively we throw Renko under the bus but not say she's here; that Renko went to meet the person and we were hanging back and then all the stuff happened. This goes pretty badly if they realize Renko is there, though.

Alternatively Alternatively we throw Sariel under the bus without naming her or describing her past the feather we have or saying we actually met with her (instead going with the story as said- that we saw the figure, it was unclear, etc, as we were coming to meet this person). That should sate what they want to know? This might be the best option. Sariel is probably going to be fine? It'd send them on a goosechase and cause chaos?
