>"Thankfully he is bound to a different realm and is unable to leave it directly. I'd open up a portal myself, but he'll likely surprise attack us if I do... Therefore, my plan is to cause a localized storm of pure chaos, which will hopefully disturb the balance enough to catch his attention. Then when he opens a portal to send his subordinates at me, I will send Usami to his realm to destroy him."

>Renko seems to be taking all of this in, but she seems a bit unsure.

>You wonder whether following this angel is a good idea...  On one hand, if she's telling the truth and everything goes right, Renko will survive, and be reunited with Sumireko. However, this also means Renko would have to kill an entity... On the other hand, this could turn out to be a suicide mission serving only to advance whatever Sariel's motives are.

>"I do not necessarily have to die... However, should both Uriel and I perish, the Archangels will indeed be no more, however, our essences will persist after our death..."

>"^{_{I'm not sure what to make of this yet...}}" Renko whispers back, before facing Sariel, "What do you mean by Sumireko ending up as his final victim?"

>"Well, my child, in order to reset reality, Uriel requires the power of six archangels... I had to euthanize the others to prevent their assimilation, but after they perished, Uriel created a series of artifacts and scattered them across the world. Whenever a mortal unites all of these artifacts and activates them in a certain manner, that mortal is sent to Uriel's realm where the essence of the fallen angels is channeled into their bodies, and, after an incubation period, they turn into a mindless copy of Uriel... Boosting his power, and getting him one step closer to his goal..." Sariel pauses, "Sumireko is currently the fifth to succumb to this, and is currently in the incubation phase... Should it complete before we can kill him, Uriel will become unstoppable..."

>"And Sumireko...? W-What... happens to her... if it completes?"

>"She will cease to exist. Her personality will be destroyed and she will be assimilated into Uriel..."

>"What about Chen ? How long will it take for her to recover ?"

>"That kitten? I'm sure she'll be alright... Fufufufu~"

Apart from that, I'm not sure whether she'd be madder if we left her shikigami Chen here unconscious or took her with us, which would mean she knew exactly where we were anyway, I think..."

>"The plan is simple: I will cause a storm of chaos, and as soon as I get his attention, I will send you and Renko into his realm, in which case you will seek out Uriel and destroy him. We won't even need to move from this spot. In fact, if all goes according to plan, this will all happen in quick succession, so be ready once we begin..."

>"Splendid." Sariel smirks, before turning around.

>Her six wings fully extend, and she seems to channel energy into her staff, soon, a large, swirling, black vortex forms around all of you, expanding outwards.
>The vortex is sustained for half a minute before it abruptly ceases and dissipates, traveling across Gensokyo as a strong wind.

>"^{_{No... He should've responded almost instantly to an imbalance of that magnitude...}}" You hear Sariel say to herself, "^{_{Unless... No! He can't be that close already!}}"
>Sariel turns around with a look of slight nervousness on her face, but she quickly hides it, "Well... Unfortunately, it seems I may have to alter the plan, but before I do so, I must investigate something... I assume you'll stay here and wait for my return?"
