> "Very well. Hmm, who else am I forgetting? Ah, are Miss Toyosatomimi and her entourage still around? Or how about..."
> Look around for anything suspicious, then, assuming nothing is spotted, look back at Reimu and lower our voice.
> "...Dare I ask, the Yakumos?"

>"Oh, those guys?" says Reimu. "I think so. It's been awhile since I've seen them. They don't spend much time in Gensokyo anymore."
>You look around, and see nothing is awry.
>"Oh, them? Well, some of them are," she says. "Yukari finally gave up the ghost, not too long after you vanished. Well, some decades later, but it wasn't that long after. Said her work was finally done."

>"I'd also like to hear this interesting story regarding the Moriyas"

>"Well, you oughta hear it," says Reimu. "It's kind of a big deal. Do you remember how Kanako was always real big on moving things forward? Advance technology and everything like that? After awhile, it kind of got to be a huge problem. It sort of overwhelmed Gensokyo and youkai and humans who wanted nothing to do with all the doodads and stuff. That lead to  a huge split between the traditionalists and the forward thinkers, as each side called themselves. Tensions were high, and things were starting to get nasty, until we all put our heads together and came up with a solution, which was we made them a place to go."

>"Let's see, there's New Hometown, Tsunkeido, Haihan, Enkyo... those are the major ones," says Reimu. "They're mostly to the west. Bunch of little villages, too."

>"Who are some names i should know around her, other than Kay."
>"And what happened to the rest of my....my family...."

>"Let's see," says Reimu. "The Warlord's a big name on everyone's lips these days. She's up around Haihan. Vowed to conquer the world and all that. Might end up sending Kaori out to take care of her if she gets to be too much of a problem. Yuyuko's still around. Suwako's up on Youkai Mountain these days, and Lord Tenma never went anywhere. Oh, and there's the mayor of New Hometown, you might across her. I'm not so sure about the other cities, I don't visit them much, and keeping up with politics is so exhausting."
>"As for the rest, I think it would be better to hear from someone who knows more about that."

I'm ready to head out (after giving Reimu a hug). Feel free to keep asking about people if you want, though; just make sure you let everyone know when you're done.

You did that in sword quest as well, is that just a tradition of these games?

That was because I thought Youmu would be sympathetic to Reimu, and also because I wanted to establish something of a closer friendship between the two. (Looks like it didn't amount to much...) In this case, Sakuya's in a very emotionally distressing situation, but Reimu has been a life raft in the storm, so I think it makes sense that she'd want to convey the necessary gratitude.

If by "if she actually did it" you mean the Warlord conquering the world, that hasn't happened yet, Reimu's got her eye in that direction but hasn't taken action yet.

Otherwise, if there's anything else you want to know, you can and should ask.

>"Well, they're cities," says Reimu. "They do city things. Lessee...Haihan's a bit more militarized these days. Enkyo's been trying to keep up with them, but they're getting into that race late, so to speak. Tsunkeido's more of a religious kind of place, my second largest following is there after Old Hometown. Lots of temples and stuff. Kind of dull otherwise, since it's a bit isolated. New Hometown probably is the breadbasket of Gensokyo these days, but both New and Old Hometown sort of trade that title around. Probably where you're most likely to find pure-blooded humans these days, too. Kaori's from there."
>The mostly quiet shrine maiden gives a nervous chuckle.
