>Keep it up until we can drag her safely, resist the burning agony !
>Inhale and exhale air as controlled as we can.

>You keep your breathing controlled, but it's harder and harder. You have to fight for each breath, harder than the last one.  Your eyes are starting to swim; you try to ignore the brightly-colored sparks floating around them. You throw aside books as the sparks become dark spots that swim across. It's getting hard to concentrate!
>...

>You feel cold grass on your cheek. A dull pain pounds in your head. You can hear birdsong, somewhere.

>Examine our surroundings.
>"Ughhh...."

>You try to get up, and find that you are laying on the ground. Opening your eyes, which you had not realized were closed, you find yourself in the middle of a forest. Bright sunlight pours in from above. You head throbs, but less so than before. The trees are oaks, with a few beeches mixed in, nothing unusual there. The birds, you can't quite identify from their song, but they sound normal enough. The air is warm and light. Looking around, all you see is forest. Thick green grasses and leafy bushes are everywhere, you don't see any signs of civilization. A few insects drift lazily through the sky here and there. Your mouth feels dry as you groan.

I have a sinking feeling that we flung ourselves forward/backward in time.

It was either that or risk losing Keine, that`s why i`d rather not tamper much with time, too sensitive. However, how far have we deviated in time ? And are we on the same place geographically ?

If I had to guess, backwards.

Hrm, the fact we're able to understand the fairy language fine implies we didn't get bent that out of shape time wise...I think

>Is there any historical language shift in Gensokyo, do we know?

I would rather let our resident faelosopher handle these.
