So, it's reasonable enough to assume that Sakuya killed someone (or multiple someones) and vilifies herself for it, a sentiment which doesn't seem to be shared by her old peers (the "mourned and honored" part implies that either they thought highly of her for it, or simply did not know about it). After which either she found Remilia or vice-versa, and Remilia gave her a new life, new home and new name as her maidservant, and that she knew of her time-manipulation before all of this happened.
The above is just a reminder to myself of my current thought process, although anyone else may feel free to weigh in on my conclusions. Needless to say, Sakuya's past is one of my favorite mysteries in the touhouverse, and I'm certainly very eager to find out Purvis' take on it.
