Yeah, I'm still not sure what I think of him as a sub. The obvious thing I'm finding myself comparing him to is Sleeping Beauty, but I think they fill different enough niches that at the very least they're both situationally viable in the same spot.
I made a PADHerder. It's probably out of date though.

Thing about Lucifer is, he's got great all around stats and he's going to deal ~damage ~ with those tripledongs.

Of course, for normal heartmaking, I have dual Yomidora and 2.25x RCV. I'll use Sleeping Beauty if I need an immediate bind clear. But no Yomidora god boost is suffering.

OH WHAT.

Constellation skillups?

I did not know this was coming.

I am excited about this.

Although I went 0/~30 on Ame No Uzume skillups even on 3x skillups, so maybe I'm just fucked regardless. Really wish I owned Antares though, he's the only one I don't got.

shame I already skillmaxed Castor via Pys
Honestly, I have no regrets and I'll probably only top off the second Alrescha with these biweeklies.

Yeah I certainly don't regret using Bubpiis on my Alrescha, but all of my Badpiis are reserved for Grisar for a while and I do want access to Pollux.

What on earth are you going to do with a second Alrescha? Skill inheritance? They do not seem compatible on the same team. I'd almost being worried about leading with two of them for all the skillboosts lost.

It might be possible to squeeze at least like 7 from four sub slots though if you have the right ones in the case of the dual Alrescha leads thing, no?  Nowadays that's not as unreasonable as it used to be, after all.
Not sure how viable it is for others, but a possible setup I'd probably do would be like Amon/AKarin*^/Sarasvati/Hermes which gives 8 total, for example, along with enabling row-burst if you can supply the eleven minimum orbs needed for it.

*would debate on subbing her out for Skuld if I had her but the haste might be more valuable anyway

^Possible substitutions include Mar Midgard(if I need HP), Sumire(similar purpose though lesser, but much more useful active since dual Alrescha resists everything but water by 51% as-is not to mention the attached haste), etc.

If it were up to dual Castor, I'd have no problem. Zaerogoo and Yomidora have four skill boosts on their own, so I'd just need to find one more 2x skill boost and field Hamal or something.

Issue with Castor is, resisting dark is a lot more useful than R/G/B/L in a pinch, I think.

With dual Alrescha leads, I could use Orochi as a 2x skill boost and barely eek out 5 for turn one Hatsumi.

If Acubens had followed the same route as Alcyone and Hamal, I'd love to roll for him, but jammer meta :/

1/2 price latents may be in the next event for 10M NA downloads, if anyone just very badly wanted to buy some SDR.

Ooooh! I do! I do!

How many do people typically run, two or three? Or more? Mine will be going on husbando I guess since he's on most of my teams in some capacity, and he special. That really only leaves Ra and my farm teams (Verdandi and Panda) out in the cold.

I have absolutely no idea, but I don't think you need more than a handful.

Unless you can farm MZeus/MHera solo, this is probably the best way to get SDR if we're not expecting GH to port PADR anywhere else except JP because they hate money.

Ehh so SDRs... will i be forced to have it in the future dungeons ? Actually, what are the dungeons that are known to have skill delays ?

No, you don't need them. Any skill delay enemies so far can be worked around, as far as I know. The closest thing to mandatory I'm aware of is Haphaestus Dragon with his 99 turn (?) delay, but that more requires you to use skill inheritance than delay resists.

As for which dungeons use them... A lot. The relatively common Gear enemies and Cath Palug appear in multiple dungeons and use it. Ultimate Blue Sonia uses is a lot in Gran Reverse. Heimdall and his dungeon use it a lot. I believe Awoken Shiva who appears in many endgame dungeons has a delay preemptive. It's fairly common.

Yup, AShiva has a two turn skill delay as part of his preemptive package.  (Along with a I think 75% gravity and a 99 or 999 turn combo[5+ to beat] shield)

I do not know whether I'll be using SDRs much, but I know I wont be if Id have to use MP to get em.

I don't really have anything to run or skillup. I can't even dump stamina into Scarlet attempts anymore.

So I'm just waiting for Jormangandr, but even then I already have a Jord and Aegir evolved and ready to uvo him.

On that note, I really have to get this off my chest.

As I said months ago, I felt that the spike in power creep was PAD's event horizon into doom. What was once a creative and intriguing game rushed into cranking out huge volumes of waifus and hasubandos for a quick buck-- and nothing sells it quicker than releasing stronger and stronger units of every color.

And it's not that this is a new thing, GH making palette swaps/resprites has always been a thing. But now it's to the point that they've more or less run out of ideas and all they have left is "take this character or concept and change them in extremely tiny ways and be sure to make them far stronger at the same time, and what we end up with is an oversaturated game where too many units do more or less the same fucking things, making them feel as if the only thing that separates them is art and name. And that's boring. That's why we have about 10 different variations of Kali now, for example, that more or less are pretty much the same fucking thing. There's no more feeling of "oh hell yes, I got this chase rare and now I have to build a team around their leader skill", which personally I found super exciting. Kind of the notion that now that everything is special, nothing is. Now you can build functionally the same team with a different reskin and it just feels lifeless. It's great to have variety, don't get me wrong, but what we have is over saturation of too many things that do the same thing without much variance to give them unique play styles.

I could go on a long time with things I felt have gone wrong with PAD's development over the years, but all I ever really do when I come to the thread these days is fuss about it, and I hate that. I hate that something that has not only been a huge part of my life since 2013 but also been my main fixation since that time, as well as social outlet has become so stale and unexciting. At this point in the game, there's no thrill anymore. Pulling chase rares ends up being more of a "ugh FINALLY" than an event that makes your day or even week. And yeah, I'm partially to blame, since I was the one who dumped considerable amounts of cash into collecting them and getting lots more along the way. But now, there's no thrill of the chase anymore. Everything is super strong and with the power creep, the vast majority of dungeons are easy to the point of being super boring. And what's not super easy and meant to be challenging is challenging for the wrong reasons, often boiling down to having the absolute perfect team (because even if everything is super strong, you still get locked out by color drains/resists or "oh, you wanted to do lots of damage? Nope, that's too much and you just healed the boss because that TOTALLY MAKES SENSE"  for the dungeons or having to rely on sheer RNG blessing. And that's... sigh.

I kinda wish I could start the game blind again.  PAD has made a ton of great improvements over the years despite the dumb things they've done along with it that have made it a much more user-friendly experience, but to me, at this point, it's no longer the game that engaged and enthralled me.

It's called Puzzle and Dragons, but the dragons are and always have been painfully generic (to the point of them having the only way to make them good be slapping a well-loved godfest rare's name on it and making them broken as fuck), and the puzzle is pretty much gone too.

So, I guess the solution is make stupid broken dungeons, to account for that. Ones where you need, like, 30 combos with certain team types (or the ever-faltering Jammer meta), or what?

EDIT: But then, is there any way to make dungeons runnable with various team types?
EDIT2: And still be hard?

I basically agree with most of what Matsuri's said there, but I still dont feel the lacking excitement myself somehow.  Maybe it's the fact I'm not at ultra endgame, but I still find the new stuff I manage to get pieces for to be pretty exciting; I'm on the cusp of being able to try out a shiny new light Healer team, something almost impossible to build powerfully for example.

Making both a DKali like and LKali like for each element I can kinda grudgingly admit is a fair thing to do; making all the special editions revolve around the same few cards(mainly Kali and Sakuya) is pretty lame though when there are any number of other avenues available.

The game is definitely easier to get into though as also stated, which is huge.  It's a shame the goalposts have been moved for a lot of people to be sooo far out though.

At the same time, maybe the old spark could be recaptured by making some kind of team entirely different from anything one has tried before?  I dunno, something to ponder perhaps.
