Getting sticky keys when holding the "shoot" button

Basically, when i hold down the Z key that allows me to shoot, if i hold it for too long it gets "stuck" for a while and continues to shoot even while i'm not holding the key, after some moments it stops. The problem is present in official games, danmakufu and Len'En. How to i configure my computer to prevent this?

OS is Windows 7 Professional 64-bit.

This sounds like you have Sticky Keys enabled. To disable it, go to Control Panel -> Ergonomy/Accessibility Options (assuming you're on All Control Panels) -> Make the keyboard easier to use -> Uncheck the box for Sticky Keys, and for good measure, disable the keyboard shortcut as well (in Configure Sticky Keys).
