>If you do manage to get this youkai to help you, and she can indeed track Renko, then perhaps there is hope that you can find her before anything bad happens to her, and maybe get some answers too...

>You eventually enter a clearing. Near the edge, a bamboo stalk is slightly bent, hanging from the end is a broken snare trap.
>Tewi goes up to inspect it.

>"So... What brings a human and a cat to this part of the woods? Are ya lost?" You hear a voice say behind you.

>Turn around and look at our mystery person.
>Examine her.
>"Hello, i am Maribel and these two are Chen and Tewi, we`re looking for a hunter to help us track someone lost . Would that be you ?"
>Wait.......... you`re just waiting to bust out another Undertale reference right ? Well, here ya go. Pet the wolf-hunter if that`s her.

>"Hello, i am Maribel and these two are Chen and Tewi, we`re looking for a hunter to help us track someone lost . Would that be you ?"

>"Actually, we're looking for someone, and we need to find them as soon as possible."

>You snap out of staring at it and introduce yourself.
>"Hunter? Nah, I'm anything but a hunter... My friend Kagerou is a good tracker though... Actually, she's over in the bushes over there... She said something about getting back at a rabbit... Would that be her?" the head raises an eyebrow...

>You start to walk over to the bushes when suddenly a figure leaps out of them, heading straight for Tewi as her back is turned.

>A floating head? As if bunny-eared people and creepy gaps weren't enough...

>Gensokyo is certainly a strange place...

>Try to stop the figure from provoking an unnecessary fight.
>"You two stop, please ! Can`t we settle this in a more peaceful way ?"

>If we do manage to stop her, ask her if she could help us. We do still need to find Renko as soon as possible.

Still, it`s not right to just allow a fight if that`s what`s gonna happen, if you ponder a bit you`ll realize this is pretty similar to Mokou and Kaguya in a sense. ^{_{You don`t have nearly enough power to take over the thread just for yourself. : P}}
