That's my goal, but GBF has a different plan for me by giving me Tiamat SRs and SSRs weapons but no Tiamat Magna summon, and Yggdrasil Magna summon, yet only 2 SR weapons.

So i'm running a Wind Team and a Order Grande/Odin-based Team right now.

Ruka, thanks for reminding me that if we ever meet in real life i should punch you.
If you want to know why:

> you introduced me to this game grindfest
> you set up assault time at 4am (Espa's timezone)
> my parents caught me playing at 4am last GW and nagged me all day long

worst part?

> i enjoyed the Nightmare fight last GW so i'm ready to do it again this time  :V

It's all your fault!!

thanks :D

My ID is 10279436

Yeah...our timezones are kinda spread out. Not the best for coordination, but I didn't make that distinction anyway~  :derp:

Edit: Announcement from Grancypher regarding some game stuff: http://grancypher.com/2016/05/25/granblue-fantasy-onwards-may-2016-edition/

Main things to note are changes to the planned Defend Order mode, a browser option to play the game (vs chrome app and mobile) with some planned features, changes to Surprise Tickets, and Limited SSRs not being a regular occurrence. Give it a read.

Also, a Tales of Astoria collab is planned. You must play the other game to get some characters. More details later once I iron out some specifics, but I assume it will work like the DereMas collab but unsure how to link the game app account to GBF.

For people who want to get a head start to get some characters, Tales of Astoria currently has a x2 EXP and 1/2 AP event going on. So far, only Milia is known to require lv30 in the game to get in GBF. I'm assuming there will be another character that will have a ToA level requirement to get.

While a nice news, i don't plan on even starting Tales of Astoria.... already too much to do with the games i'm currently involved....
I wanted to ask your opinions on who should i suprise ticket (and which day to roll Star Platinum).

Right now my SSR are:

Fire: Percival - Clarisse - Yuel - Metera (main team)
Wind: Birdman - Petra - Rosetta
Dark: Narmaya - Beatrix - Vaseraga
Water: Lancelot - Lily
Earth: Cagliostro
Light: Sarunan

I'd hate to ticket someone Fire (i guess the missing piece for full endgame team would be Magisa?) and then once legfest hits i roll another SSR Fire that would stay in the box forever.
Wind is good. I COULD ticket Korwa because she is OP but i already have 2 powerful buffers in Petra and Rosetta.....
The others are weak right now.
Oh, and the GW char i'm planning to get in a few centuries is Sorn so one more Light spot is taken.

What do you think? Should i roll/ticket someone Earth/Light/Water? This GW really kicked me in the nads with a water boss....

I'd honestly suggest ignore ticket/star and save 50 bucks, but I'd suggest dark out of all that by picking up vampy or lady grey if you're desperate for a backup color.

Seconding Chaore unless you desperately just want a particular character for whatever reason. You'll eventually roll one of them. The question is when.

To elaborate: your fire team is basically set, that can take you to all content.

Which is really the best part of fire. You're set once you've got your main four.

Most other colors tend to really need different things for both sets, but fire just kinda goes with what it has.

Which is why i'm looking at needing like 5 different characters for different jobs in wind still, and don't get me started with light ;;

I personally save the betting until the last day just so I can see some trends and get a general feel of who will usually perform well. Also by that time, I usually have enough betting cards saved up to spread out some guesses in case there's no clear winner.

Quite dark. Also symbolic.

Also caved and drew 20. Got SSR Rackam and Jamil. Don't underestimate characters just because of their rank. They have their uses.

Spoiler:
Nightmare isn't too bad with a half leveled pool either. Spoilered for spoilers.

Jamil is extremely good for an SR, yeah.

I really hate how  both event bosses the past two scenario events have literally made rosetta useless because MAN I sure hate rosetta's gimmick. Game is kicking me for not just choosing korwa for the ticket.

0/57 did not help.

It's going to be another three months before I can do anything relevant again, isn't it...?

44 rolls
some dupes, 3 new SR (of the new ones i got the old lady) and 2 SSR

Cybele :colonveeplusalpha:

and then on the last 3k crystals the RNG decided that irony is best answer:

I'd hate to ticket someone Fire (i guess the missing piece for full endgame team would be Magisa?) and then once legfest hits i roll another SSR Fire that would stay in the box forever.

GUESS WHAT? MAGISA!!  :toot:

My path from now on is almost set: next suprise ticket i'll get Athena, then it's a coin toss for backup color between Wind and Dark.

Next GW i'll probably aim for the Harp (SS really good for my fire team) but after that if i haven't rolled Bahamut i'll go for Siete and forever stay as a Fire/Wind player (a bit miffed i wasted 2 GW going after Sorn, but it would be a titanic waste of time/mats if i worked on her without at least a decent light team)

Cybele :colonveeplusalpha:

Hey ! I would take that everyday ! I could use more firepower for Earth Team and the regen.

But yea i also got some neat rolla i guess ?

23 rolls:

Zeus AND an Dupe Zeus.
The new Earth SSR.
4 new SRs including the new SR whom is also Earth. :D
1 R :V

I might ? Get an last 10-Draw if i get the last 600 crystals in time, but for me this was a pretty decent LegFest.

And i'm still happy i drew Arulu on the Famitsu Ticket, so there's that.

They are gimmicky, but I wouldn't necessary call them bad since they have a lot of utility if used right.

Used on an off color or grande team, you can do the triple attack + superior damage combo on an off-ougi turn to deal near-ougi levels of damage as a basic combo. On a water team, you can use a lancer or superstar lead and lead into uplift or superior damage depending on what you feel like. There's also the 2-turn single-target dodge that Phoebe can use.

The main thing to keep in mind is make sure to wake your party up during a setup process or else their skills go to waste. Experiment a little. If you like them, keep using them. If you can't get used to them, have them keep Lyria company.

Edit: Okay, maybe the near-ougi damage is in assassin groups where damage spikes under certain conditions. Still useful.

They'll keep cute Lyria company for me.

BTW, i drew Yodarha, he alone deals more damage than all my Earth team combined in Ougi power, even with one stack. :P

Great for me since i need to do lotsa grinding for Event Draws and i'm still in the early stages.

So I made a spreadsheet using the information from the guide since the damage calculator everyone keeps linking isn't translated yet, and I've found it difficult to figure out which skills were what.

I look this sheet from the Ultimate Guide and modded it initially for personal use. I decided to share it in case anyone wanted to use it. Before I link it, some disclaimers.

Disclaimers:
-This is not a comprehensive damage calculator.
-This calculator does not take into account damage reduction, weapon subskills such as found on Chev sword and the like, and skill modifiers.
-The calculator is meant to only take into account raw damage and damage increases.
-This calculator does not factor in Ranko.
-This guide contains references from the optimization guide for easy access.

How to Use and Interpret:
-Manually enter Attack Power. Everything else is a drop down.
-Treat Unknowns and Strength weapons as the same.
-Factor is the amount of attack increase a certain setup provides.
-The highest factor number is highlighted. This is meant to help pick optimal summon leads.
-The difference between setups is meant to help pick weapon pools.
-A positive difference means Setup 1 is the better choice. A negative difference means Setup 2 is the better choice

With that out of the way, let me know if there's an error in calculations. Any other updates are at my own discretion since this was a personal tool to begin with.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/11qYwyHYLSwwWV0fZHPReOy3u6ZMZS9tH_DqCNkfjcuY/edit#gid=733857469

Hope it helps.

Edit: Apparently the JP calculator has an English option. I still can't make heads or tail of some of the skill names.
