Koumajou Densetsu II help needed!

Are there any way to graze bullets in this game like in SWR? According to Touhou wiki:

"Down+X (ground): Sakuya jumps back quickly. Invulnerable for a good duration of this move."

That's a lie though... I'm still taking hits from the bullets. Right now the only way for me to dodge the bullets is to back up until the bullets are spread apart enough for me to slip through (there isn't always even enough space for this). Sakuya's huge hitbox doesn't help this either.

There's your problem, you stop grazing right on the second wave of bullets.
The invincible frames stop right when she puts down her feet (or very close at least).
I'm sorry to say that you have to dodge those bullets by going very far from the boss. :(

Sakuya has a tiny hitbox when you're airborne, and so when you're flying as well...

To me it looks like it's more like before the half way of the back jump. You can dodge some attacks with it, but the fact that how short time you are invincible makes the move nearly useless. I guess the person who wrote the wiki article had a different idea of what's " good duration" and "very short duration" than me.

Well it works fine if you know what you're doing.
(actual spoiler for later in the game)

Anyways, it's not nessessary, I passed the game without it.
Keep at it and you'll succeed.  :D
