One thing I've noticed: the stream banner this time around is Grisar. Usually it's been possible to predict what'll be shown on the stream based on what they show (Tornado Holy Dragon was used for Nordis, Zhu Bajie hinted that they'd be slotting that descend back in for the stream period, and so on).

Grisar's only set appearances in dungeons are wave 16 of Ultimate Arena, and...as the boss of co-op Devil Rush.

Here's hoping?

Id be ok with it, much of a letdown as it'd be; I need Grizal copies and to finally beat up Ilya anyway.

Just gotta get him some latents (I guuuuess five HP) at some point. Working on Alrescha now, got her evolved and fed her an off-color snowglobe, going to awaken her tomorrow.
I made a PADHerder. It's probably out of date though.

Ah, so you did finish him.  I saw the in-progress version as I was gathering my own plusses.  Got enough plusses to max DMeta's HP/RCV now; just gotta do my dragon runs for money and then finish my Atk fodder and she'll be hyper at last.

SQ next, though obviously I won't make it terribly far on that front in one night with just four stones, but I'll get him a bit of the way there.

Yeah PADZ is surprisingly tough. The little guys can shred you in a second and the preemptives can really take you by surprise. I haven't actually died yet, but I had one run where the first floor goons hit me down to 16 HP (and I did NOT calculate that, I just got lucky) and two runs where I should have died to the bosses because I miscalculated my damage and left them at a sliver of health, but my poison JUST killed them.
I made a PADHerder. It's probably out of date though.

Remember, while it might have been Legend before it's Mythical now and has power to match!

Me, this is more of "JQ cheaping out the game with Awoken Chinese shenanigans" so I kinda tilt the odds a bit too much to my favor to die, but even I lose like 2/3rds of my health if I have to eat the first wave's hits, much less the second.

i dunno, the actual bosses are pathetic and there shouldn't be a problem with the trash

maybe if you're using hard color teams for it for some reason :v

For anyone not resisting Wood Stamp it's a pain to run into the wood spawn on F4, definitely.  That thing's a pain and has spawned on almost all of my runs; the only reason I don't die is because :AKarin shenanigans: but he's still annoyiiiing.

yeah that and the fact that holy shit anything without a RCV multiplier is actually garbage at healing

i used all my heart orbs and healed only like half my hp and at that point i knew i was just fucked

so im basically just gonna all ra dra always forever and forever a hundred years ra dra forever ra dra dot com

I think I'm done +egg farming for now, one hypermax is enough to satisfy me this event, and I don't want to play the game so much it feels like a job and I get burned out of it (I know better than to do that).

So next projects are doing my AMinerva team, doing AYomi and then finishing my lakshmi team while trying my darnest to work on my pandora team. So much to do. :V

at that point i might as well just go ryune/i&i or w/e since hp/rcv boost rows seems to be the new coop meta

im not going to seriously invest into it though because i need every +egg i can get just for my ra dra subs

im also hesitant to dump resources to building other teams because the meta moves so fast, so any other team i can try wont have +eggs and will basically be worse than ra dra in every way

basically the only way ive been able to keep up with teh meta so far is by hoarding resources and then when something op falls into my lap i dump it all into that. it worked for ra dra and now i'm holding off until the next ridiculous thing

The problem with that is that the meta is shifting away from superhigh spike teams with no hp/rcv multipliers and that's honestly a good thing as it brings validity to more defensive styles of play rather than stall/low atk multiplier play be Hard Mode, thus the roadblocks for spike teams have come into play, like damage shields and resolve.

I mean, as much as I dearly love my ASaku and AYomi, I can see the writing on the wall here and while they're great, I've invested a lot of time and effort into my I&I (and will put more into her team next 10x) and Astaroth teams since they have much better capacity to survive instead of killing or being killed and will serve me greatly in the future.

But just for the sake of completion:

Thought I'd finish her off with my collected stones from PADZ and Legelonte.

2 rows done! I'll work on water stuff next time once I get a solid plan for my I&I team.

Congrats to commandercool and Matsuri for their +297 (and all my jelly :D i have only 2 +297 and almost a third)

Pad Z was surprisingly unforgiving, i actually died once with A.Sakuya because i messed up the light tpa, leaving the guy alive and ready to ragekill me....
..... after that i reverted to old RoBu and repeatedly roflstomped it without looking  :derp: Semi-tank teams, even old ones, always reliable!

also holy shit i'm +40 HP and +70 atk over rcv

pls can i just get some more rcv

Seconded. Right now i have so many +hp stored up i can basically give any monster physical-subtype statwise  :colbert:

So next projects are doing my AMinerva team, doing AYomi and then finishing my lakshmi team while trying my darnest to work on my pandora team. So much to do. :V

If in the future you'll need a partner leader for those teams, give me a call and maybe'll be able to help. No Minerva, but i've almost all the mats to Awoken both Yomi and Lakshmi, and of course my own maxskilled Pandora  ;)
Although...... i don't know if it's a good idea to work on a Pandora team right now. Heroes will probably get uuevo/awoken not too far from now and after seeing A.Haku, A.Shiva, R/L Ares and the likes i fear they might change her playstyle.....

As for myself, i really hope one between Sephiroth, Satsuki, and the still-in-the-air D/F tpa attacker (GH: "Soon?") get some damn boost in rcv in their uevo.
Even with a fully hypermaxed team and x1.95 RCV i barely reach 5k, which would be used to heal a 32k hp pool, and THAT is not funny....

this is exactly why I sunk a huge amount of investment into Shiva Dragon and red, because Red is by far the best color for generic skillup/plus egg farming. This is offset by the fact Red is the worst color for tackling Challenges and Arena, where all the other colors have tools to tackle those much fairly.

There's nothing wrong with the meta shifting away from ra dra in general, since he is pretty silly and needs to be kept in check. It's just I don't want to invest into another team unless I know it can last. Like I&I row teams are good but then they made Awoken Astaroth/Lucifer who are even better, and then there's probably gonna eventually be a HP/ATK/RCV row MP dragon that's bind immune and has like 5 rows or w/e and I don't have the time or the desire to hypermax a million teams (I'm still not even done with my current ones)

Also ra dra is still op as fuck even with absorbs and perseverance :V I dont think there's a single dungeon yet that he can't beat (aside from conditionals obviously) Coop mode actually helps him a lot since you can have way more utility with 8 subs than just 4

That kind of mentality only really applies if you want to be the absolute best of the best and doesn't really apply if you just want "enough" to clear content.

I mean, AHorus has never been in the spotlight since he was released alongside ABastet and ARa, both of which are far superior to him, but he's still capable of clearing a lot of content with the right team.

Pretty sure that's been done already.

I mean, iirc the whole JP tier system is entirely based on "is this leader good enough to carry a team through an Arena victory?" and if they are in the list then the answer is always "yes", with the tier representing how easy it is to do and how versatile they are in doing it. And I'm 100% sure AIsis is in the B Rank

(Although I could be completely wrong on this, someone correct me if so.)

I thought Green was the worst colour for Arena by far because Kraken, Apollo, and both Kali being sub-red.

Oh well, it's getting renewed anyways and I never bothered to do it with Bastet! :V
Cleared Arena again while it's at half stam with Hathor. :V This team is surprisingly consistent.

Green has more utility subs than Red, is the thing.

When you put it that way, you might as well just stick with Ra Dra forever...

Kaguya AND Wadatsumi is pretty sadistic, yeah. Gungho loves throwing around their most unpleasant dungeons given the chance. Although I think Gabriel/Ryune beats Wadatsumi pretty handily. I was using Gabriel/Blodin before and it was consistent, just slow and painful. Sans awakenings Ryune is better in basically every way, so hopefully it won't be as bad this time.
I made a PADHerder. It's probably out of date though.
