Explanations on the new coop awakenings (god boost, and wagging sanic finger). Hopefully there's even more than just those. Like if god boost really just boosts god types then there should be other type boosts too like devil/machine etc.

actually that would be kind of weird. There's already an MP dragon for water rows and rainbow matching so what would be do? Be a sub? So like better version of aIsis with like the same att and typing but also triple TPA instead of water rows/orb and an active with a stronger shield + haste?

Not sure if that would be worth 300k MP and It would just make the optimal RaDra team even more expensive

and also dragons are not waifu


Bastet dragon though is actually really needed because Odin dragon is useless and there's no combo MP dragons yet

I'll be in MP dragon purchasing range soon (I suppose I could buy one now if I dump a bunch of godfest exclusives I don't care about like Zuoh) but I don't know what I would want to buy. The only current MP dragon I would want to play would be dRAgon, but I only have one black Kali.

Not sure what I would want one to do for me to buy it, honestly. I suppose a less strenuous, less powerful but maybe bulkier rainbow lead would be good. Something like a Hathor Dragon (Sekhmet Dragon?) would be great, I would probably buy that. But short of that there's not much I want yet.

Nah, they'll just release a new 500k MP Dragon that has a weighted stat of zero, no awakenings, no active and no leader skill, but can be uvo'd by using all five MP dragons to become Literally God(tm)

Worst part is, since MP is technically a "free" currency, this would break zero laws, so they could actually do it.

Not only that, but awoken Greco-Romans just got on-color resistance in addition to light and dark, Awoken Astaroth got 1.5x instead of 1.3x, Horus got 1.5x RCV on skill use, and Parv/Lakshmi got damage boost on 4 hearts instead of 5.

I am pleased with this development.

So those buffs are great, and I'm happy with them, but... Plz tiny Awoken Ra buff to help set him apart from dRAgon in some small way? I would be happy with just swapping out his orb enhance for another blind resist. Maybe a tiny HP boost for white devils. I know he deserves buffs less than most of the other awoken gods, but my sense of symmetry demands it.

Edit: The new awoken skills are weird. So Mecha-Hera's "god row" is actually God Killer, which gives her 3x ATK (just her, not anybody else on her team) against God type opponents. There are versions for other types too. That's a completely new mechanic, isn't it? Enemies having types I mean? I know every card has types, but this is the first time they've ever  een referenced for enemies. 3x ATK is alarming massive. I really hope this doesn't herald a PAD where every boss has 100mil health under the assumption that your whole team will have to have the appropriate type-killer awakenings.

Also there's a new stat boost awakening that gives a massive bonus (1.5x to everything) in coop dungeons. Again, hopefully the dungeons will not be built in such a way as to be impossible if your whole team isn't stacked with those. I'm not clear on what the point of this one is yet from a design standpoint. Will have to see some actual coop dungeon stats I guess.

I guess the question is if it'll work with plus eggs. It looks like they very deliberately took it off Mecha-Hera because it would have granted her a whopping 2500 HP, 1000 ATK, and 150 RCV... and that's before any multipliers and if plus eggs don't count.

Lynsia looks like the real first to get it, and it would grant her 1670 HP, 849 ATK, and 180 RCV. Mind you, those are still pretty huge, but I wonder just how much she will be used.

It just raises red flags is all. This kind of thibg in game design is usually called a "silver bullet" and it's usually used to solve some kind of problem. Like "Oops, we accidentally made Big Woodsie too strong and nobody can kill him, we can fix that by introducing a Woodsie Killer skill". In a collectible game like PAD silver bullets are usuay considered to be in poor form and an admission that designers aren't creative dnough to solve their problem any other way or careful enough to avoid painting themselves into corners that they need drastic measures to get out of.

So I guess what has me worried is that they're giving us the silver bullets before the problem. And that makes me reflexively think that there must be a huge, game-breaking problem in the pipeline for us to use our silver bullets on.

On another note, I just spent 110 stamina trying to get one fucking Dragon Fruit from Thursday Dungeon and I got zero. Seriously, what the fuck is happening this week? I can't get ANYTHING done because the game won't drop ANYTHING.

especially since she only need 5 atts + poison so you dont actually need all colors

I'm thinking that as things look right now, it's some kind of incentive to use certain cards in co-op, but I guess we'll see if the silver bullet reasoning is really how it's going to go because the card itself that has it will be the newest boss - in co-op to boot.

I wonder how this'll get applied to Venus and Hades (at least I hope they apply it to them), since they already resisted their own elements -- Venus halves light and water, while Hades halves dark and wood. If they just slap the other light/dark onto them, then Venus/Neptune and Hades/Ceres would resist the same things.

If I had to guess I'd say this might be a consequence of his original crappiness. Gungho wants people to want all of their REM gods. If people have a bad taste about Horus, even if it isn't valid anymore, they may feel they have to draw attention to him so that people will get excited about him.

I think it's a cool buff, I like it. And as far as I remember this is the first expansion of the "ATK boost the turn a skill is used" into other effects. There's a lot of design space there, this could be cool going forward.

I think Awoken Horus was given the buff to match Kenshiro, who gave 1.5x RCV to physical/attacker unconditionally and had the same attack multipliers otherwise.
