>The purple constructs release their energy and begin firing lasers that begin to curve unpredictably. The lasers don't get very far before a massive, multicolored laser comes out of nowhere and demolishes the whole group.
>"Great! It looks like I didn't miss the party ~Ze!" you hear a familiar voice call out.

>You hear several bursts of danmaku being fired, along with a couple explosions. Several seconds later, Mima flies next to you.
>"Let's see if this will give you more juice." she says as she conjures her four colored orbs, which then proceed to spin around Marisa's Hakkero and fire a beam of energy into it.
>The Master Spark increases in diameter once again, almost matching the enemy laser in girth, and starts pushing the laser back a little.
>"Huh, using an orrery to amplify the Hakkero..." Marisa remarks, "Why didn't I ever think of that?"
>"It warms my heart to see that I can still teach you something..." Mima smirks, "Now lets see if we can push this laser back further!"
>The Master Spark and the laser start pushing each other back in forth, locked in a deadly tug of war.

>Groups of red, green, and blue constructs are beginning to close in on your position from all directions.

They came from a rift similar to the ones I've been seeing in the dream world recently, so I think they're from Genmukai. There were thousands of them though!"

>You turn and see that the enemy laser has managed to push the Master Spark almost all the way back to Marisa. Marisa barely manages to stop it and push back. Mima quickly fires a beam from her staff into the Hakkero to give it an extra boost.

>Reimu charges the yin-yang orb with power and then flies perpendicular to Marisa, placing the orb right in front of the Hakkero.
>The entire Master Spark gets absorbed into the yin-yang orb, causing it to spin rapidly while flickering between many color hues. Meanwhile, the enemy laser, no longer blocked by the Master Spark starts racing towards your position. The laser draws ever closer when...

>KAWOOSH!

>The orb discharges an even larger laser, resembling a Master Spark, but with a smaller beam spiraling around it. The new laser quickly pushes the enemy's all the way back to its source, which causes a massive explosion.
>The spiral-spark dissipates. You watch the position where the two orbs were, now a dense cloud of smoke.
>When the smoke clears, the orbs' grey aura seems to be gone, an electricity seems to arc over their surfaces. The explosion appears to have stunned them.

>"That... was... AWESOME!" Marisa cheers.
>"Don't celebrate yet. We're not done. Look" Mima points at the hole in the ground the laser had made. All the constructs in the area seem to be rushing towards it, as if to bum-rush it.

>This time there are no constructs nearby to intercept the shots, you strike the one on the right, cracking it slightly. Reimu's amulets do the same to the other one.

>The cracks then seem to repair themselves, and the smoke auras of the orbs regenerate. The orbs regain their senses and a thin beam of red light extends from their cross marks. The beams of light seem to converge on Marisa, but nothing seems to be happening.
