I typo'ed y own address; so my package went to #1 not #2. When I realised this it was back at the werehouse. They fixed the address and put it for re-sending. Except it fell off the elevator and wasn't noticed until I rung to query it again and the same phoneperson went and checked remembering saying to me when it was due |

I spend about an hour at the post office waiting to send my gift, because a couple in front of the queue decided now was a great time to go totally beserk and scream abuse at the post office staff, and then the staff got fed up with it and started yelling at them back, then the crowd joined in because they were fed up with waiting, then eventually security showed up and tried to drag the couple away, but they came back to do more yelling. I was pretty shaken up by this so when I finally got to the counter and filled in the form, I forgot to tick 'gift' and then spent the rest of the day worrying my SS would have to pay import tax. Luckily I *cough* undervalued the items *cough* so it wasn't a problem. The post office manager looked like he wanted to die. |
