I own one hyper card and have beaten God, Devil, and Hera Rush, and one of my members of the used team(Berry Dragon) isnt even max level, so you can get pretty far just on proper teamcomp and high/max levels/Awakenings.  Skill levels are HUGE though.  Sun Quan being skilled up is a TREMENDOUS part of my own ability to do them, for example.

Ahahahahahaha yamato rush is so fucking stupid

This should not be so difficult, clearly my luck is just wrong tod--

...that only took a couple stones of attempts. 20-25 DeviNyans.

What.

Re: legend plus dungeons:

Hypermaxes aren't needed, but they surely help. But you should surely have a solid team whose levels are maxed out/awoken and preferably skilled up. Something to mitigate binds/skillbind resistance is always good, as are shields like Susano, Izanami, Kushinada, the Golems (ult Golems are fucking god sends since they're also bind proof).

Nothing is required. Not literaly, if that's what you're asking, and not really practically either. I wouldn't attempt it with anything less than a solid team that you know how to use and maximum levels, awakenings, and skill levels.

And keep in mind that some Legend Plus dungeons are much harder than others. God Rush is widely regarded as the easiest, and Yamato Rush is maybe the hardest. A few of them (Hera, Yamato, and sometimes Scarlet) have massive preemptives that require you to be prepared for them.

Which dungeon are you thinking about trying and what team are you planning to use?

Also, for the record, I don't own a hypermax team either. Two of them are extremely close, and I intend to have one by the end of the week, but I'm not quite there yet.
I was wanting to try Nordis in the descend challenge, but I'm not sure if I'm ready for that.

Nordis might be a decent place to start if you have a spike team, especially a dark-based one with a bind clear. If I'm looking at your stuff right though, it looks like you don't right now.

I'm noticing most of your teams (assuming your teams tab is up to date) rely on a friend Amaterasu. Nordis has three floors in a row featuring dragons with fairly high HP or defense that just instantly kill you, so I'm inclined to guess that a tanky build is probably not going to cut it. I've had a lot of trouble dealing with Threedia with a bulky team in the past in Dragon Rush, so I know that he's some rough shit for any team that can't hit hard and fast. Some kind of Ronia team might be able to do it if you bring a way to deal with floor ten's dark bind. Maybe Aamir, unless there's a better option I'm forgetting?

Given that it looks like many of your teams are relying on decent HP+autoheal, God Rush is probably a better place to start. It's fairly tank-friendly as long as you don't mind spending a lot of time on it. But I don't know, maybe you do have a Nordis team in there and I'm just not seeing it.

At least that gets me started on some strategies. And yeah, I have gotten a bit spoiled with Awoken Ammy's autoheal and need to get back thinking without it.

Wait what.

I just had Nordis cheat against me. I hit him pretty hard first turn, and he just skipped over Brave Resistance and killed me. It's possible I hit him to 20%, but I don't remember him explicitly using Last Belief. Maybe I missed it. But either way, does he just not use Brave Resistance at all if you hit him to 20%? Or does he have that mechanic where if your HP is low enough he just always prioritizes normal attacks and instantly kills you no matter what and it's just not noted anywhere on PDX? Or is it and I just can't read the notation?

Huh. That's not... Usual is it? Don't most monsters do their attacks in order? Is there something indicating that that's not the case? I feel like writing Brave Resistance as "below 50% but above 20%" rather than "below 50%" would be more descriptive, but whatever.

I wasn't convinced I had actually hit him that hard, but I just picked up my phone and the dungeon was still open, and he was definitely at like 5% health. So I guess I did. :V

Don't trust PDX all the time on those. Priority is enemy-specific and you should learn these on your own, whether by asking or by experience. There's this common misconception going around lately that it's one or the other for low-HP attacks and that's absolutely not true.

PDX is generally not accurate for dungeon information. http://pad.skyozora.com usually tends to be more accurate on attack priorities

I've been doing some more poking around and apparently people with Samsung devices don't have the problem. Which may be because Samsung does its own stuff to the Android platform and I guess their audio player is better than Google's.

God dammit it happened again, with Shining Dragon Knight this time. Granted I was trying to stall on him and I only hurt him at all because the game decided to skyfall me into a full Ra activation despite the fact that I was going out of my way to leave out two colors, but I guess if I knew stalling on him was that RNG dangerous maybe I wouldn't have bothered.

That looks good, but I don't speak Japanese and 80% of my PAD browsing is on a mobile device, so any obstacle making navigating even harder is bad news.

Nice to know that there's a more reliable source out there that PDX could use for reference but that it chooses not to, though. :V

I tend to avoid apps for this kind of thing because I can never stay on top of keeping them updated, but I'll take a look at it. Thanks.

No. They said they'd look into it and it chilled me out for a while but I'm pretty certain they're just straight up not going to do shit about it until a lot of people start complaining about it.

I don't know what else to do honestly. To be honest PAD is even worse on the 5X because sometimes I've been noticing some sound desyncs in general overall-- like I'll do a row and the orb clearing animation will not match up with the row clearing chime. It's a split second but it's very noticeable and very annoying-- though not game-breaking like the lag issue that they just straight up refuse to fix.

I hear they going to buff the Sonias. Good.

such announcement will be made later today...

https://t.co/ud16IrLjzb announcements are up!

Gronia got converted to become rows like Blonia! Thank goodness. In the meantime, it's confirmed both of them have a final multiplier of x3.75 when matching 5+ connected orbs of their main color.

REM valks got a major buff again. Getting a 2nd row, and a x1.5 ATK boost when matching 6 connected orbs or more.

Grodin got a major buff, Gungnir now heals 2 turns of bind.

Bodin got minor buff to AS, it enhances now dark orbs in addition to blue orbs. Furthermore, CD is now 10 from 12 (same original CD).

Bodin and Rodin have improved LS. When matching 4+ connected orbs, ATK is increased by a bit. Probably x1.3

DMeta got an SBR. She's also getting something else I lied she isn't appearing to get anything, the Heart OE is an error.

LValk got a skill boost!

Stoked for Blonia though! Now she's even stronger. :v

Also happy about the Odins as well. GOdin finally has a use again!

More examples of this, I decided to dick around super hard just to see if I could do this.

Red and Ifrit are mostly unskilled, and less than 600 plus eggs. Awoken Leilan is a pretty hard counter to Nordis though, but this is just an example of low-bar strats you can get away with if you know what you're doing.

Whaaaaat.

Valkyrie buff is amazibg, but where's ninja buff?

I think Grodin buff is enough to make me actually want to use him. That's a really solid buff. Now I'm glad mine got so  many skillups during Eva Collab.

As someone who uses a Blodin friend lead a lot, good I guess. I only use him because there aren't more Gabriel friends available, but free bonuses are cool regardless. And I think Rodin/Blodin paired with Awoken Norse might be something.

I don't want to complain about buffs, but...really GH?  I think the REM Valks are fine.  Give them a REST already, will you?  Same with DMeta.  Also echoing the sentiment that LValk amd, much more importantly, LMeta need to stop getting utterly crushed by their counterparts.

Edit: I only just now realized HOW insane that REM Valk buff is.  9x leads? Nah, 20.25x, with a 9x fallback and at least four rows for doubling up.  That's just...sick.

WHY can't LValk get that as well?  Her LS has always had parity with her purchased sisters...(though of course they steadfastly refuse to give her any rows or another TPA because screw her with a rusty pike due to farmable.  Ugh.

I do understand the SB is probably a bigger deal than I was giving it credit for, but...  I dunno, maybe I've gotten too used to teams almost having all their actives up from the word go if maxskilled.

White Valkyrie is a conundrum. On one hand I understand why she has to be worse than the others. I would be pissed if she was exactly the same but you could get her for free. That would seem like a real slap in the face to the other colors. On the other hand, it sucks that white just doesn't have a better option.

I mean, black had Vampire, but it still got a REM Valkyrie? Why does it get a farmable one and a premium one and white doesn't? Edit: Not to mention the heartbreakers of the other colors, which I briefly forgot about. Shut up, it's early. :p

The way I see it, there are two fixes for this, although it's probably too late for either of them. Either just give white two Valkyries, a farmable weaker one and a stronger REM one (although that would massively devalue the iconic monster that Rose is, which sucks) or just make her significantly different from the others. If she had awakenings that were completely different, being less obviously good but not straight-up worse either, she could justify her existence. Like maybe give her three or more orb enhances, or fully defensive awakenings with multiple jammer, poison, and blind resists. Anything to make her more than just "the shitty Valkyrie".
