should have got a light resist :V

Wouldn't have helped. I died to Divine Star because my finger slipped. Completely underestimated the timing of it getting cold here this season.

To be fair though, this was my second attempt at it, and as you can see, it's more than doable with time... (or resetting for ZM Skyfall)

My Nut and Blodin also aren't maxskill.

Does RaDra have room for ARa as situational sub to take them out?  I dunno how that team works, like if it needs all the slots filled a specific way or what, but...

I use aRa as a friend

Unfortunately doing so hurts my RCV, damage, and forces me to use actives to hurt things

Also apparently I don't have enough damage to kill Athena if I do use aRa

So your best bet is to use RaDra as a friend and then either try to rcv through the piis...

...or just do an awoken-anubis level of damage to break through their defences.

One of the two.

Hmm.....I'm tempted to give this game a try. What region is everyone playing on? Does the JP version come in English, or only the US one?

USA and EU versions are the only ones in english, we mostly play in the USA version though (I believe Trance and Thaws are the only ones here that play in JP seriously).

To be fair the game isn't hard to understand, once you get used to the UI and stuff you can very safely play on the JP servers, especially with the aid of http://www.puzzledragonx.com to translate the actually annoying stuff to understand (IE: Active and Leader abilities.)

pdx cheking is basically all you need from my experience but i've played this game for years so everything is mostly second nature

pad.skyozora to see what events are up is also useful

PAD's got a bit of a learning curve (consider it one of those "it takes a few minutes to learn and forever to master" kinda things) but once you get into a groove it's pretty great. Like already mentioned, PDX is a fantastic resource and a lot of us check it daily.

In other news, decided to do an impulse yoloroll on godfest and got Sanada! I'm all right with that-- now that I have him and Urd I may be able to run Gadius semi-well.

This godfest doesn't really offer anything really newbie friendly. The easier to use gods that you could get like Amaterasu, Bastet or Isis feel like they have a bit of weak mid game.

Decided to do one pull because why not.

-Nim

That's really cool actually, I'm extremely happy to get Crest Knights even though I never use the ones I have. Only missing Delgado and whatever the black one is now (and Delgado is the one I'm most likely to use, though I still kind of doubt I would). Might do more pulls later, I don't know.
I made a PADHerder. It's probably out of date though.

So I've been playing this since March or so and eh, I'm not very good at it. Not at the point where I can do descends or farm for plus eggs yet.

Decided to pull for FF and the godfest.

-Wol (meh)
-Zidane (I like him so I'll be satisfied with this)
-Sharon (I don't know if she's good with what I have)
-Yomi (Seems alright, though I don't know what evo to use)
-Ace (uh sure)
-Vivi (^)

Might roll a bit more later, though I don't know exactly what's worth getting currently.

Definitely reroll. Having to use a skill to gain any of your multipliers or having none is incredibly bad.

As a side note, most of the people here play on the NA server, but JP typically gets content faster and more collaborations. If I were to be perfectly blunt, if you want to play with community, I'd stick to NA unless you plan on making friends with randos in the JP server. If you care more about collaborations and just want the game to be easier, play JP. You can also think of NA/JP as a Normal/Easy mode select.

It's also worth noting that they are currently testing a co-op feature in the future, so if you decide to main the JP server, you won't be able to play it with anyone here except Trance, Thaws, and Chaore, since I think they are the only ones active on that server.

Did four rolls on the godfest while waiting for my blood test this morning:

- Dupe Radious ._.
- Dupe Water Dragon Swordsman ._.
- Dupe Rozuel ._.
- Viper Orochi

WHERE THE FUCK IS MY YOMI I HAVE NO NEED FOR OROCHI EVEN IF AWOKEN OROCHI IS REALLY GOOD :tableflip:

Thanks for the tip. I played through a few more dungeons for another roll and picked up a Horus. From what I've read, it seems to be a good starter. What do you all think?

And for the NA/JP thing, kind of expected that. Maybe I'll just stick to NA first learning how it works, then pick up a JP account once I'm used to things.

Horus is a fine starter, although he's a little tricky to use and to reach true endgame potential you have to get lucky and get a very specific set of other monsters to go with him.

If I were you I'd keep Horus, since I don't think rerolling is that necessary. Tomorrow one of the featured sets of gods is Chinese, which in my opinion are the best starters you can get for power level, ease of use, and potential value throughout every stage of the game.

So maybe keep Horus, but save all of the Magic Stones you get today to try to get a Chinese god tomorrow. Or if you want to keep rerolling, wait until tomorrow to do it.

Who's your leader right now? Post your friend code so you can play with us.

As for what's worth having, all of the gods featured in the godfests for today and tomorrow are pretty hot right now, since they've all gotten super-powerful Awoken forms recently. You won't be able to use Awoken gods for a long time since they have extremely high evolution material costs, but they're nice to have for later.

Horus is good but a bit hard to learn at the beginning for most, Chinese have a much better curve and are probably one of the best for starting out.

And yeah, there's also absolutely nothing that says you can't play both servers at the same time at some point.

Right now, I'm using liu bei and dancing queen hera, though I have evolved Kanna and would use her more if my team cost could support the mons I want. Probably would be more useful to you all than liu bei anyway.

Amd my code is 388 361 301.

Hey, people love Liu Bei. Not usually as a leader, but he can work for that. Liu Bei is one of the most-loved monsters in the game at this point, at least in his Restrained Dragon Hero, Liu Bei from.

Unfortunately, both he and hera and their chibi forms. I really wish I had a proper one, if only because A) TPAs and B) better art. So I'll put Kanna in the first party. hera may or may not stay in the second party.
