Suwako might be able to help, however, you remember that Kanako probably had a reason for not telling you or Suwako about this immediately. Therefore she probably oppose the idea of including Suwako in this. Besides, having her know about the condition of the reactor would only serve to increase the risk of the knowledge leaking out to the rest of Gensokyo.
