XENOBLADE CHRONICLES OMG

I remember being just 10 years old, seeing advertisements for the game in magazines and on the Nintendo website. When it finally released here in 2012, I could never find a copy, so I gave up.

Fast forward to last year, Smash Bros release day. I grew an interest in Shulk, and fast-forwarding again to earlier this year, I finally got the N3DS remake.
Today, literally just now, I finished probably one of the best things I have ever experienced. This was a true masterpiece.

The story never, and I mean never, slowed down to a point of boredom. It always pushed on, and brought new things to the table. While the gameplay might take a few hours of getting used to, you won't simply grow to accept it, you'll grow to love it. The characters, mechanics, plot, everything about this was perfect for me. Plus, if you like really long games, this is for you. It's about 50 hours of playtime.

I honestly recommend this to everyone that likes a good RPG. Please, try it out. It's available on Wii and N3DS. I'm certain to get Xenoblade X when it comes out in December.

And to those who've played it, what did you think? Did you love it? (Also, please don't post spoilers. There may be those who want to play it.)

It's super good. It's sequel is one of the games that's making me want to get a Wii U. And fifty hours? Sure, if you don't do the sidequests it is. I've put over ninety hours into the game.

Yeah, I messed up. The story itself is 60, and a completionist run is over 200.

This is one reason why I haven't bothered with the game recently...Don't get me wrong, it's fun, but at the same time it feels like one massive slog. I'd really like to actually experience the story at least, but part of me is gonna be annoyed if I don't do the missable sidequests when they're available. It doesn't help that you have to seek out the quests yourself, there's no checklist unless you use a wiki or something.

At least when you DO track down the NPC you're supposed to talk to, you can advance time to make them show up, which is a really nice feature. :3c
