tbh you'd be better off polling more than 'one single person' if you really wanted to do that
people's experiences vary immensely and willingness/understanding of what they're getting into
I actually will create a poll in our local group, and try to ask the people who spent a handful of money.
Also, I read that the new chapter might be out soon. Great! 3 gacha events in a row, and I didn't and won't get anything good. I saved up for Jack, Mordred, and Astolfo primarily, and I spent it on "Dayum dawgs, dem animations are dope." servants.
Look at the bright side though, prolly in a year or so, Gacha will be "fixed". Cause with DW's pile o' cash, they might feel "generous", and the first players get a free 5-Star, like the *4M DL Event. ' and we'll all take a look back and laugh(not).
Sure, the gatcha rates are shit, but I feel that they give out a good amount quartz. The drop rate for 5* servants is something like 1%, right? That seems pretty fair to me.
They do give a handful of apoligems, but the main problem lies in the contents of Gacha itself, not just the rates, which is a less of a concern. Which their rates are actually more or less standard, and at highest 5% for SSR cards.
To summarize, the contents of the Gacha consists of a.) Servants, and b) Craft Essences. Now mixing the content of a gacha isn't new, you see that with games with equips in them. However the problem lies on the ratio of the type of cards. We have more CEs than servants, and in every new event, we get 3-4-5 new Gold CEs to 1-2 new Gold Servants. If this keeps up, the ratio will keep getting bigger, to the point that the probability of getting a specific card lowers to less than 1% even. With the ratio being bigger by every event, the 10-roll gold star assurance, will and can become less effective to get a Gold Servant overtime. While that's normal for gachas with new cards being released, it's not with F/GO, their theorized gacha algorithm is absurd(who knows, might be even more absurd), as I explained in the previous page. Where combined with the ratio of the type of cards to one another, it makes sense why there are people who actually spent over 1000 usd in one sitting to get a specific card in one event. Which is why even if the price of the quartz are normal, isn't justifiable with the ratio of money spent to good cards being actually drawn. Which effectively makes this game's gacha not F2P-friendly. They either make it cheaper, or add more quartz per USD.
