This isn't surprising, a desire on its own usually won't do much more than just be there. What you can tell is that you don't really know where the desire emanates from, nor do you really know the source of the curse. You do feel, however, that there is a high likelihood that they both share the same source, as they both seem to come from everywhere around you.

> Excellent. Keep at it. We know that world isn't real; we routinely couldn't feel it when we should, we couldn't find any life force in that tree, and the flora were somehow surviving without any sun.
