> Try to tell if it's the source of the curse.

>You turn your attention back toward that desire. It immediately obvious that the desire itself is not the direct cause of the curse. This isn't surprising, a desire on its own usually won't do much more than just be there. What you can tell is that you don't really know where the desire emanates from, nor do you really know the source of the curse. You do feel, however, that there is a high likelihood that they both share the same source, as they both seem to come from everywhere around you.
>You meditative focus has been broken. However, it takes you several moments to really sense the world around you, much like last time.

>You set you mind to declaring this world does not exist, and refusing to believe in its lies any longer. Everything seems to darken around around you, the color leeching away to leave only a kind of outline. A kind of rose-colored light emanates from the darkness ahead, in what was empty air ahead of you. You can just dimly make out the outline of the Saigyou Ayakashi ahead.

>You approach the tree. A few more blossoms spiral past you, but they are not hard to avoid.
>The tree is rooted into the air, you quickly note. They simply sink into the open sky as though it were soil. Further up, you can see there is a long-haired woman in a robe where the boughs are curving inward, laying among the branches and apparently unconscious. You can't quite make out her face, but you suspect she is Meira.
