One more Star Vault pass should max out Verdandi, more or less, and then I'm going to finish hypermaxing Beyzul. And by the time I'm done with that hopefully I'll have Andro, or at least I can do Liu Bei (who, I know, I should've done before Verdandi for a few reasons, but fuck it, the queen of the harem should get hers before her men do, right?).

Awoken Ra is only good if you have the subs for his team composition. It's far easier to make a strong Awoken Bastet team than it is for Awoken Ra, janky A.Ra teams with 0 LKalis are very prone to orb-troll and even PAD Master Games needed to use Mastering as a backup. I disagree that Awoken Ra is absolutely the best.

Finally managed to beat Wednesday Legend for the first time, sweapping out my Gigas on the Awoken Horus team for Izanagi (cause that means 100% skill lock resist).

Also beat Kanetsugu Mythical one minute before it went away :V

Masks wasn't hard at all and Kanetsugu, although I cut it very close right at the end, wasn't too problematic either, it's amazing what having a x6,25 leader can do for you, especially one that has TPAs.

Seriously Awoken Horus why were you not a thing sooner ;_;

Well, I ulted my Ronia with the new ulting system and it gave me lots of exp and 2 skillups.

Well in her case her AS doesn't change either, so perhaps it's only the ones who change on ult but who use skillups for their pre-ult form as materials?(such as the aforentioned Mystic Dragons)

New and old ult evo work in a similar way, first your monster is getting evolved, then it gets all the stuff fed as power ups.
In case of Meimei, the Jewel Skill needs to change first, otherwise you won't be able to get skillups.

I think you actually want the jewel update to NOT arrive, otherwise it doesn't count because it uses the skill of the old form to calculate if it is compatiable for skillups.

Still not sure if I'm gonna evolve mine. Right now I just use her on Athena, so losing god type sucks. But she's a legit-ass lead, so I could totally see using her for that. Something like Mei/GZL/Liu Bei/Susano/Sasuke/Mei sounds good (although the Liu Bei's active becomes basically dead, and that's not thaaaat different from my Verdamdi team).

I don't really have an immediate replacement for her slot on Athena (no Apocalypse) for as rarely as I use that team and her skillups took sooooo long to get... I'm out of Woodpys too. Hmm. Tough choice.

Right now my team idea is:

AMei/Athena/GZL/Astaroth or Sasuke/Parvati or Sasuke/flex

In which flex can be Susano, Ceres, Kushinada, dark or light attacker and so on. Liu Bei might be fine too, but his active is worthless on such a team, so it does feel kind of like a waste.

Liu Bei's active is hard to use on a lot of teams honestly, even ones that don't require the use of heart/dark orbs.

It's one reason why I'm thinking of replacing him on cats team

Yeah, but he's so god damned good otherwise that he's generally more than worth keeping around :<

With that said, Mei has a much better active, much better stats (that HP :*), mostly better awakenings (2 TPA instead of 3, but everything else is better)...

Honestly I don't even know why I'm considering it, soon as I get her skilled up she's in :V

You have to master the art of purposely smudging up your board. It is a very strange thing to do, but you have to do it to make LOO BAE work, sadly.

Yeah, I can still find uses for him with Bastet, but it's a matter of getting a board that's got no more than like a third of green/dark/hearts or else I'll get can't-combo-this paralysis and die.

Edit: Also, for those interested - it's been confirmed that the skillup "bug" for uevo is fixed. If you want to maximize your skillup chances for Meimei, wait until we get the green jewel changes (in probably 2-3 weeks).

Lessee what I can pull together.

Awoken Meimei/GZL/Susano gives me all of the necessary colors; Susano even gives some desperately needed RCV and tenacity.

Leaving two sub slots for -something-. Wood Wizard Leeza is still on-type, with a TPA and skill bind resist; she's also a fast anti-troll option with that 5-turn cooldown.

Wee Jas gives utility more than anything: +1 orb time, unbindable cleric type and delay? High RCV? Sweet deal, but that HP is suffering (600 weighted stats pls).

Ceres is a better cleric in the long term, but she only does bind removal and healing.

If I have a need for dark damage for some reason, Beelzebub. I already have it +297'd :V

Re: Liu Bei
As much as tripledongers are lovely, I think I'd prefer something with a shorter cooldown and a less intrusive active skill. A GZL enhance will easily cause the team to deal more than enough damage, while faster and not impairing Bastet or Meimei's leader skill.

I just remembered that DMeta is attacker as well. She could give some added kick with dark damage and add to the damage reduction if needed, too.

It would be a stretch to call DMeta the absolute best at any time in her existence simply because of how very specific and REM heavy she used to be, and how very touchy HP conditional leaders are.

I can't honestly say I've used her much since her ult, though it was a huge buff for her to stay relevant. Maybe I'll patch together a DMeta team and take it for a spin later to see how she does nowadays.

I've been kind of meaning to put together a Dmeta team for a long time (Meta/Hanzo/Finn/Loki/Satan/Meta maybe?) but I can't imagine that it's an amazing team. It's probably fine, just seems a little fragile. Honestly the only real reason I'm interested is because I want to try Satan, and he's mediocre at best with her, so I should probably just make a Satan team.
