> Cross our swords with the intent of catching her blade between them. To properly set them up, have them both more or less pointing to our left, while holding our left-hand sword low but inclining upward and holding our right-hand sword high but inclining downward, forming a crude giant pair of scissors (or garden shears). They should be held out far enough that even if Meira were to push apart our blades and continue to fore her blade towards us, her blade would still get caught on our cross guards. In addition, if we have the control to do so, do not angle either of our blades very drastically away from the other; we want to keep them both fairly close to horizontal, so Meira has to think twice about sliding her hand up her blade to do that trick again, lest she cut her hand open on one of ours on the way by.
> WITH ALL OF THE ABOVE GOING ON, continue running forward. Best-case scenario is that we can still run forward while sliding our blades along hers but still keeping hers in place (or at least slowing it down enough that we reach her before her blade reaches us).
