> While we are charging in, swing our sword from left to right as if we were parrying a stomach-level stab. Hopefully our sword swing with either disrupt her timing or parry her stab if she actually tries one.

>You charge in at Meira, and she keeps moving to the left. Your head clips her shoulder a little, but you don't think you did much to her other than give some annoyance.
>Being as close as you are, it's difficult to get a good swing with your weapon, but given you are trying to interfere with whatever she is doing you don't really need a good swing, just one that she reacts to. You can feel your blade hit against hers weakly as you move in, but given yoru head is otherwise occupied. you don't quite see what happened.
>Meira is now to your left, your footing and sword position are quite poor; however you are sure that sword motion saved you from a more severe retaliation a moment ago.

>You fall back to the right, and Meira moves to follow. You manage to find some decent footing in the meantime, while turning to face her.
>Meira leads in with a slash at your waist, coming from the left.

>She seems to have paid as much mind to your ghost half as you have.
>You put on a defensive stance as Meira puts a couple yards between the two of you. She holds her sword with both hands now, keeping the hilt near her left hit and holding it diagonally across her body, a stance you haven't seen yet. There is a change in the air around her, as aspects of death leak into it.

>You move to block her attack. As you do, her left hand slides along the blade of her blade, fast enough you barely have time to register it before your swords clash and she pushes against Roukanken with more force than you anticipated! Were you not holding it with both hands, you would very nearly be disarmed; and as it is you have to stumble back to keep from being bowled over by the larger woman.
>You aren't sure if this was a feat of unusual strength, or if she managed to find superior leverage and caught you off guard by shifting the force around.
