>You jump away and twist in mid-air, landing on your feet. Meira is already on top of you, having dashed after you, and is leading in with a two-handed stab toward your torso!

>You sidestep and lean right.  It's not enough, you bring your sword around and parry the stab, deflecting it. However, now you are poorly positioned from all the quick emergency motions, and your sword is not well placed to do much.

>You bring your sword around and block hers, the two blades clashing with a loud ring. It's a sloppy block on your part, but effective enough.

>Your footing is fairly sound. It would be best to have a moment to adjust your positioning for maximum effectiveness, but that is a luxury you may not have.
>Not really, she has backed away far enough that you aren't in a position to apply pressure like that.

>You move in and move away, leveling a feint to Miera's shoulder. She moves back as you, but you have begun before could react and still close some distance. She turns away from the feint smoothly, for what good it does, and presents her right knee toward you in the process. You jab low, as she realizes her mistake and her blade swoops down to meet yours. However, you are too quick and stab her knee; while she is quick enough to knock your blade away before you can sink it too deeply. The pain registers briefly on her face.
