What type of player/fan would (insert resident of Gensokyo here) be?

It's been that long, and a lot of new content has appeared since that old thread.

Anyways, what type of fan would residents of Gensokyo be?

For example: Sakuya would be able to 1LC Lunatic without bombing, because she can manipulate time.
Shiki Eiki would hunt down other fans who pirated the games (AKA all of us) because SHE IS THE LAW!!
and Flandre would die on her own battle to Starbow Break, because she clearly doesn't know about the safe spot. (If she did, it would disappear.)

I'd say that some characters might find the comparatively small amount of sexually orientated media and possibly be embarrassed. Of which I read every single day.

Reimu would be a natural prodigy at the game, Rinnosuke would be an avid seller of the games themselves (Kourindou, Foreign Branches), Cirno would be decent due to the reaction times needed to engage in Danmaku in general and would always score 9999999 points every single time. Technically, every single character would be good at the game due to a need for strategic prowess and good reaction times for Spell Card Duels in general.

Oh, and Akyuu might be a manga artist despite recording history. Just a thought.

Ran and Yukari would be super good, because they'd foresee all the patterns and would be able to calculate any trajectory, even during the random bullet spreads.
Flandre wouldn't be able to play very long, because she'd destroy the device at the first ragequit.
Toyohime and Reimu could beat any game due to their super-luck, also called "natural talent" in Reimu's case. Yeah sure, damn lucker.
Yorihime would bomb-spam through all the game. Even if she doesn't have any bomb left :V

Reimu would play once on lunatic, beat it through sheer luck, then never play again. She doesn't seem like the gamer type to me...
Sakuya would die a few times, then beat the game by TASing.
Remilia would fail on easy mode, get fed up, then order Sakuya to beat it for her.
Suika would be great at these games because she's always on the same wave length as the creator.
Kaguya pwns dem noob bosses.
Nitori's the one who makes the ultra mods.
In Koishi's Gensokyo, bullets dodge YOU!
Seija couldn't get past stage 1- she'd deliberately fly into the bullets.
After experiencing her own spellcard, Shinmyoumaru would never change hitboxes again.
Sumireko probably does play touhou.

I think Patchouli would read all the fanfics and other written works and research ways to help improve your Touhou play.
Reimu would obv be a master at the game. Prob beat all the games on Lunatic on her first try.
Marisa would likely... borrow the games in a less than moral way. I have a feeling she'll have to work a bit harder, but eventually be just as good as Reimu at the games.
Sakuya will be enraged once she sees how some of the fandom portrays her. The police have not found out the murderer of Touhou fans all across the world. All that was known was that lots of knives were in their body. Lots of them.
Mokou probably wouldn't be good at the games at first, but since she has all the time in the world and doesn't give up easily, would likely spend hours upon days upon months of time perfecting her play.  She might have to buy several computers just in case she burns one in rage. She will be driven to beat Kaguya in the games.
And I just have a feeling Byakuren and Miko will disguise themselves as hardcore fans of themselves and try to get people on their side, only to scare them away. Don't ask why I think that lol. And they'll play HM a lot, taking joy in beating each other up and getting more faith.

• Wakasagihime would play with a waterproof keyboard.
• Sekibanki would claim to play on a much higher difficulty level than she really did. Her head would pop off from surprise when she got hit by a bullet.
• Reimu would feel a little embarrassed about playing as Marisa every now and then.
• Marisa's aggressive play style would have her accidentally charging straight into bullets, ending all of her games prematurely. If she kept it up, though, eventually she'd get to the point where no one would be able to beat her at grazing.
• The Prismrivers would fight over who got to play which character, in order to keep their scores separate. "You can't be Reimu B! I'm Reimu B!" It wouldn't occur to them to use separate score files.
• Yuugi would play one-handed.
• Rumia would play with her eyes closed. It wouldn't work very well. Then she would go get a snack.
• Yukari would play the game on her computer, Ran. (no idea how)
  One day, she'd leave it open and Chen would play. It would be so, so hard. Especially with those nails.
• Utsuho would take off her control rod so she could use both hands, then accidentally melt the computer when she was trying to deathbomb.
• Sakuya's runs would be absolutely flawless.
• Remilia would boast about her skills, but play on Easy. There's no shame in that; besides, a vampire has better, cooler things to do. She'd be happy that Sakuya had unlocked Stage 6 Practice for the other modes, though: her lines are so badass!
• Keine would make it so that her latest run never happened.
• Alice and Patchouli would cosplay together.
• Nitori's mods would make the game incredibly inconvenient, but so what? They were a blast to write. Her fangames would keep being delayed due to troubles with FPS syncing on graze-enhanced hitbox swaps while playing as the third Magic Stone with more than a 34 degree dihedral.
• Cirno's favorite game would be Fairy Wars, because it's the best Touhou game ever with the coolest plot and best playable character ever, no exceptions. At conventions, she would cosplay as herself.
• Koishi would have incredible reflexes. She'd keep getting up and walking away in the middle of stages, though.
• Aya's Touhou blog would feature stories of importance to the community. Hatate's would feature dank memes.
• Medicine's fanfics would all end the same way: With the characters dying, happily surrounded by poison. They'd be really well-written though, up until the last chapter.
• Wriggle would take advantage of several bugs in the games.
• Kosuzu would play PC-98 exclusively.
• Akyuu would run a wiki, compiling data on characters and incidents...so, no difference
• Common sense would not hold Sanae back, but keyboard ghosting would. She'd always be pestering Reimu for some PvP, but Reimu would be too busy with the important things, like drinking tea.
• Yukari would tell ZUN exaggerated stories of everyday goings-on inside the border to see what he would come up with in the next game.

• Kosuzu would be a translator, able to interpret any document. Which would be a gimmicky feature, actually, since a lot of the fandom material is made by japan.
• Mamizou would be a cosplayer
• Choujuu Gigakuu (Mystia + Kyouko) would be a vocal band. ^{Actual artistic merit not guaranteed.}

I think Marisa would be the score player type who works hard to get her high score. Cause she's the type who works hard for her goal (I guess)
On the opposite end of the spectrum would be Reimu. She would be the kind of player who got her Lunatic clear on day 1, then push aside and never play the game again lol

-I personally think Marisa would have to work hard before getting good at any of the Touhou danmaku games.  Eventually, she would come out to be at best top 5 on the high scores as a result of her efforts.
-Reimu would naturally come first place on her first try on top scores, but would probably score again significantly lower the 2nd time around and maybe a few times more, since being naturally talented does not necessarily mean remaining the top player.

As for who the biggest fan, Patchouli or Yukari probably would be ranked at the top, for Patchouli has a library full of fanfics and tales across the world, while Yukari is pretty much the owner of Gensokyo.

Now, we know Yukari would curb stomp the game into oblivion, but the matter is however HOW she would do it.  What kind of play style would she have?  I think she would have a very whimsical sort of style if she is not playing for score.  She would flit about between bullets with grace and dance around enemies as if to taunt them before blasting them to bits.  Of course, when playing PCB on Phantasm she would easily show that what you see on screen is but a cheap imitation of her true prowess...  But of course, that representation still stomps many of us into the ground...

Seija would hack the games to get impossibly high scores, and she'd try to trick people into thinking they're legit
