The good news is, they literally eat dirt there, so it should not be hard to convince them to do this. God damn that is a good game. --- End quote --- In part, the character models threw some people off; we had gotten used to Final Fantasy doing its best to make highly realistic models, and FFIX's were anythign but. I would also suggest they may have missed the charm of the older sprites they were wanting to recreate, too. Also, I would argue the US treatment of Necron, via removing notes on what he was, soured the experience. Largely, though, I would say that FFX, though an inferior game in my opinion, overshadowed it by being a near launch title for PS2. I'll send you my bill. |
