I'm annoyed they even meddled in this to begin with, but whatever. Once I get my paycheck tomorrow I'll buy this game, because my inner nostalgia would not allow me to ignore it otherwise. Keep up the good work, Rou!

Also that Teamwork mechanic is awesome and I wish more games had something like that.

EDIT: Most of you may know this but Chroma Squad was made by the same company who made Knights of Pen and Paper, which is a pretty nice RPG too so all of you should download and play it.

One thing you forgot to mention in this episode: if anyone counters the Boxing Box before you kill the minions, it counts as attacking it and you won't get the Instruction completed for it. :fail: I learned this the hard way while playing...How many tries did it take you to finish this episode?

Maybe Moon Vulcan is a reference to Sun Sentai Sun Vulcan. It seems to be super old so good luck checking out if there are hostages :V

Eventually you can get its cooldown to "I can use this every single turn". It doesn't take up your turn. Enjoy permastunning any nearby enemies, or perpetually halving the boss' actions. Stunning Pose is stupid good.

Also screw time limits with Breadcrumblers. I swear to god the early missions have super tight time limits and then after season 2 everything's like twice as long as you can finish it in and it's ridiculous.

Also Transitmancer's been the hardest fight in the game so far. But apparently his Hard mode stats are just near impossible for some people for some reason so idk.

finally finally I don't think it's actually possible to get an Excellent on season 1. Like you can literally have maxed audience and all director's orders and not get it. For some reason by comparison there's a fair leeway in future seasons so don't worry you'll activate your hype machine in full power soon 8D

The only way you can lose fans (that I've found) is to 'game over' - the game lets you retry the specific scene at the cost of a miniscule number of fans.

like really it's like 10 fans it's nothing.

(also fan club is like the worst set of passives in the game you will be rolling in audience without them)

In short, I was afraid of straw feminism. But instead they actually seemed to really believe that avoiding obvious, overplayed gender tropes was a good thing, and I was really impressed by that.

Anyway! Less politics, more explosions.
