So I wondering, is there any kind of spell practice patch for touhou 10? I really want to try out Suwako's long arm and long leg safespot, but I always die before I get to her.

I don't think anyone's made a spell practice patch (and I doubt they ever will, that seems pretty hard to do). The closest thing is this boss rush patch. You'll have to beat the Kanako midboss and any of Suwako's spells/non-spells though.

Also, I'd recommend (in the future) making your thread titles more relevant to the thread content.

It's probably going to be obvious to me once you say it, but how do you install/patch the game? The th10boss.DAT doesn't seem to do anything.

PS: The only reason I made the title that was because this was my first post ;3.

Make a copy of your MoF game directory so that you don't break your savefile by accident.
In the copied MoF directory, make a backup of th10.dat, rename th10boss.dat to th10.dat, then launch th10.exe. Enjoy!

Nice to know you're enthusiastic about joining, but thread titles should be relevant, so that others know it they can help or not. When I first saw "Hi everyone!!!", I thought it'd be an off-topic chat/introduction thread (to be moved elsewhere or closed), not a gameplay question.
