we're in a new age where it no longer costs ten thousand dollars to max skill a collab gold :V

In stead, it merely costs ten thousand to obtain cards like school athena.

Fuck the padcademy rem.

I rank them  Devil Rush >>> Hera Rush = Dragon Rush >>>> God Rush
personally.

Your team has the advantage of handling wave 1 hera-ur by being blue though, and isis is afraid of no hera-is binds. So with that, your biggest problem is probably Beroc, and DQ Hera.

And yes, if they follow jp schedule, these jewel dungeons will come every non-event week! That's two snowglobes each time! I have loads of snowglobes stocked up but no where to use them because my rolls have been lackluster for the past few months :V

I think theoretically I can pull it off if I use Kushi to block the 31k prempt

But realistically it would probably take a shitton of tries because there's so much that could go wrong.

Not enough blue orbs to burst turn 1. Bad combos during the next two floors since I get one hit by anything. Getting extreme metal is a 50% auto lose. Hitting Beorc to low hp. Killing Sowilo too fast before the skill bind wears off. (lol Sowilo sucks) Not killing Sowlio timed with Kushi active in order to block the prempt. And then finally fucking up in general vs DQ.

I wonder how many stones snowglobes are "worth"... especially since they aren't farmable

ugh even 0 stoning Hera-Ur and Beorc descend alone will be a pain, but at least I have a lot more sub options now

I've no-stoned Hera Rush before, but that was without EXTREEEEEEME Metal Dragon appearing. I can use Neptune to destroy him, but I need the dark jewel from no-stoning the dungeon to get awoken Neptune.

Guess I'll just toss myself at it until Hera appears for wave 3. Hera-Ur is kinda scary for wave 1 but 2.3 million HP is really low. Fortunately, both Persephone and Byakko+CDD are up on turn two so I don't have to deal with Hera-Ur for long.

A snow globe is 2.75M exp when fed on-color, after accounting for the cost to level it up.
King Carnival gives 0.33M if all gems and all fed on-color; 0.3M if all metal/gold and all fed on-color.
So, a snow globe is worth between 8 and 9 King Carnival runs, or 400-450 stamina, minus the stamina of getting the Snow Globe itself.
How many stones is that? and that is how many stones you may spend to get a Snow Globe.

I don't care so much for the snowglobes, I just really want that dark jewel.

If I still had R/G Suzaku, I'd use Ceres on Mephisto's dungeon all day today for effortless farming but I converted her to R/L for Ariel.

Come to think of it, I might try Ariel in Mephisto. Let's see how that goes.

I remember it taking 6 times when Hera challenge came by for the first time. Hera-Ur is super annoying. Fatty is supposedly rarer than Hera, so it's probably lower than 50%...? You can also choke on Sowilo by her combo shield :V

Was challenge mode supposed to be this easy or are 5 Ronias really as stupid as I thought they were.

Because I'm literally running a level 10 unevolved Satan as my leader + 5 Ronias and I just stomped literally everything up until Tower to the Sky before my stamina finally ended.

(I'm feeding all of the fodder to my ROdin so I can have a more decent leader.)

Accidentally skillmaxed UmiYams while tryibg to get Beyzul skillups. I don't really have a ton of use for them, and now all three pirates are back to being blank drops for me, but whatever. I just need one more skillup. Got six Wangrens in a row though, so it could be a while...
I made a PADHerder. It's probably out of date though.

My experience farming the current Bubpy technical dungeon has been -incredibly- easy thus far. The Ifrit on wave 9 dies to a faint breeze and Leviathan gives you four turns minimum to do whatever. Got at least one Bubpy for Neptune out of it, at least!

Though, I wonder how easy the rest of the dungeon is if you were to lead with Gabriel. Maybe just start with Beyzul and YOLO the entire way through? :V

I don't imagine I'd have a problem just doing it with Athena. I only run alt dungeons with Gabe when shit goes down (Trailokya). But yeah, I guess I really should just do that at this point.

So apparently the Legend Dungeon roguelike has been scrapped. That's a gigantic bummer for me. I wonder how they're gonna make up for that...

EDIT: Never mind, I misread the stream details from a few days ago. I'm not sure how I like the thought of limited dungeons that have shitloads of floors(30+!?)...

Actually Roguelike IS scrapped and they'll be using the prepared bosses as descends. Also they might apply rules planned for roguelike to the descend!?? (e.g. the start from lv1 thing)
Not sure what's gonna happen to special awakenings though. With all those heart-related LS released earlier, it's pretty lame if the +-shaped heart shield thing doesn't make it. :|

Whoops I was intending to grind out Mephisto all day today hoping for a dark jewel invade.

Turns out Byakko can't get enough of me, as she invaded wave one of my first attempt.

This stupid bugger took me longer than I care to admit to finally clear.  I also finally got around to evolving/ulting Fuu who whoadang is pretty awesome and a fabulous addition to Team Fancy I-Don't-Know-How-LMeta's Pants (Work) even with no skill levels.  I learned that I need to not be so conservative when doing descends, stall juuuuust enough to nuke the fuck out of things because the alternative doesn't fly with HP conditionals.

Knocked out Noah this morning too rofl LKali, I think I might be done with running the challenges, the only Piis I really want are behind stuff I really doubt I can do, and I probably should instead focus on leveling these puzzlemons.

The way it's worded makes it sound like the descends will be a bit strange, and since the "Drop to Lv1" mechanic is remaining, I can't imagine the descends being just ten floors - that might seem too short for something that intends you to level through it, so it will probably be a part of the intended experience. Sucks that we just lost basically an entire game mode though, since that was my largest hype out of anything they've ever announced so far.

GJ on threedia! I see best girl was not needed :v

Her stats and auto-recovery were actually quite needed, as you can see I did almost bite it against Threedia. I wouldn't have been able to even take the damage from Tornado Seal without using Cure at that point since Grodin Tamadra was pretty annoying.

Oh it seems like PDZ missed some minor details on the JP stream summary. I mentioned some of this in our irc but seems no one posted here about it?

1. http://puzzledragonx.com/en/monster.asp?n=1293 is getting a uevo in celebration of PADBT 1st anniversary. Hopefully NA gets this collab. It's their own character so copyright is not a problem, but seeing NA didn't get PADZ until they were bringing it to NA, they might not be bothering unless Round1s in US deem that PADBT is profitable in US and will import them...
Anyways, she's a weaker version of LMeta is most ways, but she does have higher hp. Full bind proof and even higher stats would make her really good as a sub!
Also, she's getting uevo before the other gold egg which is supposedly the protagonist? Priorities :smug:

2. A new mode is in development! They'll tease it during 5/31's gungfo fes. Lets hope this one doesn't just get postponed for half a year then die. RIP Rouge(Legend) Mode 2014~2015.

3. The 4 new ECs are Normal EC (No rcv), Normal EC (No awakenings), TEC (No rcv), TEC (No awakenings)

No RCV Normal Endless seems like it'd be pretty easy. Hell, it just means you can go all Goemon or Satan on their faces. Or even Folklore.

No awoken skills? I can still see that happening.

TEC? Oh gods.

Also, he lives. it's only been two days since I got him but you know no big deal.

This is all I really want. I want to see them do more things with the engine to keep people puzzling in as many ways as they can. I hope it'll look as enticing as Rogue did.
