Parvati's no Ceres, but since she's not far from being +297 she's going to have awesome stats and bring lots of RCV to the table-- as will Pandora and Hades.

Parvati also has two TPA, which Ceres don't have, so she'll punch harder than her too :)

also YamaP's made an advertisement for KYMG Studio's advertisement for a new assistant artist. YamaP uses "描いてる" when describing Kirin, even though KYMG already illustrated Kirin before, so we might see a 2nd Kirin UVO, which has Japan in a huge frenzy.

oh right I suppose the other alternative to using a Ronia would be D/R Lucifer.
The last slot I would recommend Hades because of high RCV and both rows and TPAs. And we need more love for Hades!

If you have a Genbu, I would suggest Genbu+Pandora as a 2/3 dark board but then Parvati also gets shafted.
I'm assuming that when Parvati isn't making hearts for healing, she's making hearts for Persephone to break?

If you roll with Byakko, Pandora, and Hades, the row damage is going to be pretty okay unless you can find a D/R Lucy (or mini Ronia?) to colead with.

Even if the team starts to have more rows than TPAs, it's okay because Beelzebub's orb enhance gives more benefits to rows anyways. He's very much a "jack of all trades" in that regard, so as long as you have a burst option and a way to keep up healing, he works very well imo. Still does acceptable damage when I need it. :V

Running the team simulator suggests that (Beel/Byakko/Pandora/Parvati/Hades/Beel) with a +297 Parvati and Beelzebub friend, the team will have 73,924 HP but a meager 2,651 RCV. I hope I'm just underestimating enhanced heal orbs. On the other hand, the HP will just rocket higher with more +eggs and the RCV is already good for teams that don't have 4x HP.

That's basically my point. Even if it's not proportionally amazing like what Beelzebub/Ronia would have, it's still very good for what it is.

I'm assuming that when Parvati isn't making hearts for healing, she's making hearts for Persephone to break?

That's the idea, yeah.

Honestly it would make more sense to run TPA over rows simply because that's what Beelzebub specializes in.  So Haku/Percy both have one TPA, but Awoken Parvati and Awoken Hades both have two-- and their attack is incredibly good too (at least, Parvati's will be one she's hypermaxed, it'll be 2001). So there's a lot of heavy hitting there, but I have to wonder if Lu Bu wouldn't be a better sub somewhere in there just for the sake of a final punch. 6.25 is 6.25, after all...

And I do have a Meimei on that note, but I've done nothing with her yet. She'd work well with Persephone and Parvati, but she'd kinda shaft Parvati's recovery potential, which would be the whole point of using her over someone else. She'd work well if I dropped Persephone for Pandora, though.

Whichever brings the better results, I suppose.  Haku has more punch and more awakenings but less HP/RCV, Meimei works better overall (but with less awakes) with better HP/RCV and Pandora compatibility-- and Parvati can just make hearts from water whenever needed.

EDIT: Alternatively, this IS a place where Lumiel could shine, because she gives orbchanging potential for both Pandora and Parvati at the same time.  Though her stats are a little less good than Haku/Meimei on the whole, though-- she is unbindable and that's something. Once she gets an ult I'm sure her usefulness will be much better, since it's awakenings holding her back.

A ninja update huh. Guess I'll go grab it.

EDIT: Apparently Android users couldn't get it immediately/there were problems getting it - I'm on Android and got it fine, but just a warning in case anyone else runs into any issues. Maybe "stability issues" wasn't as vague as I thought...

I will do that.  Eventually.  It's more than possible.

Still, glad to see the update finally.  As justified as the rage was it was still annoying to see all over the place.  The stamina thing will be quite handy.

it technically 'has' 8 gb of memory but it's actually 1 gb + 7gb "usb storage" and for whatever reason i cant transfer pad to the usb storage (well i can but it only moves 50 mb over wow such help)

so the memory usage on my phone now is like
200 mb base stuff
600 mb pad (goddamn)
200 mb free but unusable for w/e reason

If your phone is rooted and you're geeky enough to work Unix terminals you can probably symlink the game files to the USB storage. If you have no idea what that just meant you might want get a new phone (or continue playing through your iPod)

Get a new freaking phone!  The Nexus S came out in what, 2008/2009?

Even if you root it's gonna die sooner or later.  Used S4s are flooding the market these days.  Get one of thems, root it, bada bing.

You don't even need an S4, I know from experience that an S2 or an S3 runs PAD, browses, and pretty much does all the things just fine.
I made a PADHerder. It's probably out of date though.

I've heard several reports that the game hates rooted phones, although come to think of it maybe that's just a thing on the JP version :V

[16:10:03] <~Nadeshiko-Matsuri> ugh there is something wrong with the update
[16:10:06] <~Nadeshiko-Matsuri> or something
[16:10:22] <~Nadeshiko-Matsuri> every time the music loops on the menu the game freezes for a split second
[16:10:25] <~Nadeshiko-Matsuri> it's annoying
[16:10:42] <~Nadeshiko-Matsuri> please tell me I'm not the only one with this issue
[16:10:51] <~Nadeshiko-Matsuri> i hope it doesn't happen in game too
[16:10:56] <~Nadeshiko-Matsuri> or that's going to really suck
[16:14:26] <~Nadeshiko-Matsuri> JESUS CHRIST IT DOES.
[16:14:33] <~Nadeshiko-Matsuri> WHAT THE HELL.

Please please please tell me I'm not the only one dealing with this. If so I'm going to be super tempted to roll back to Android KitKat, which I never had any problems with whatsoever.

Doesn't matter, it's the game itself freezing up regardless of the sound being on or not, but it's 100% linked to the music loop regardless, because it's happening at precisely the same interval.

You can imagine that this is a problem, considering that PAD's menu music is just a repetitive, endlessly annoying 30 second loop.

But thanks for letting me know that it's just me :negative:

I'm not on 5.1 so I don't actually know for sure.

But just so we're talking about the same thing here, I'm referring to actually disabling the music in-game, not just muting the app (or device) - is that what you've tried as well?

Edit: Also, I like that they delayed the patch for a week and it's apparently fucking broken anyway.

Never had Gaia before either, so that's an extra for me!

Yes, I disabled the music in-game. But I kinda hummed the song in my head in between freezes and it's the exact same interval, which tells me disabling the bgm just turns the volume off on it and it's still there. :V

Hold on, I'll get a video of it.
