You can stall on Ares no problem if yoy hit him below half, especially if you have blind resist or are good at playing blind. He'll alternate between a blind move that does awful damage and a ~10k attack forever. He never uses his gravity again below 50%.

Apparently he'll always use his non-blinding, higher damage attack even out of sequence if it will kill, but whatever. The gravity is the bad part and you can play around it.

At least we have a free jewel incoming. Then I need just one more.

Awoken Venus, as much as I love her, is just so underwhelming in comparison, and the half-assed active change doesn't really improve much. Especially since I'll probably be running Athena with her anyway :v

Super hyped for ult LKali though. THIS is the upgrade she needed to push her past Kirin in my eyes. She was already stronger but her lower HP seriously turned me off. 3k is very passable. And the damage boost is hilarious and I'll so run awoken Venus as a sub for her :p

The most outstanding bit in my eyes imo though is the skill bind resist though because if you play your cards right and pack a normal bind clearer, your board can literally become unscrewable thanks to Kali's active.

The only awakening she gained was a single skill boost :V

Also what's worse than the 3 jewels is the fact that they need an ulti heartbreaker

Also I'm a bit surprised they didnt give Kali triple TPA considering it's all the rage now. In total she has fewer awakenings than even Kirin, but to be fair they're all really good ones.

And I already have a normal Cu Chulainn that I never use, so while leveling him up may be annoying, with alt farming it shouldn't take more than a day or two of effort. And I already have gold keepers and such so *shrug*

Also, new challenge dungeons incoming. Of COURSE the shynpy is the hardest one to get. And the shynpy AND woodpy are the hardest ones in the set after this too (so once again fuck you gh)

honestly i don't think anyone would mind an active change tbh except maybe weird people

awakenings and stats are a given, LS almost certainly so because it's so badly outdated in terms of hp modifiers

If they added resolve to his leader ability that might be interesting as it would give him a much easier time getting to the x5 zone. Still weak to multihits and such so it's not that OP, especially if they make it a high condition resolve like 75% Hp or something

Also, next set of challenge dungeons have put the Flampy on level 8 and there's no fucking way in hell I can clear anything beyond level 6.

Hell, I'm not even sure I can do level 6.

But before I rage too hard, Chirei, what alt dungeon did you farm for tons of ranks and tons of flampys again? if it's the same dungeon for both, I may need to rush myself some ranks for Athena.

It's worth noting that I did not list one for rotation "2" which is in a few days - hypno forest sucks unless you have one of those fire alt teams (shiva, minerva, rodin, etc)

Hmm. Can I beat challenge seven? I can definitely get to Ra, and I can definitely get him down to one or two health, but my team would need to hit blue and white every single turn for five turns to kill him, which seemly unreasonable. I could sub in a fixed damage guy somewhere, but Gabe's unreasonably strict sub requirements make that rough and I can't even think of a blue monster with fixed damage, much less a remotely usable one that I own. I might be able to just bash in Ra's face with brute force, but doing that after bursting down Thoth and Sopdet might be hard, especially if half of my screen is still jammers and poison.

I guess I might be able to do it with Kali with a very specific team. Subbing in Ra to smite the enemy Ra shouldn't be a problem, so that floor basically doesn't exist and I just have four floors to deal with. Kali's active kicks the shit out of Thoth and Sopdet, so they won't be too bad. I know she can handle masks, although I might want to bring a heartmaker for safety just so I know I can stall up to my skills on them. I should have enough time to smash Gold hopefully, and Isis isn't that bad. So maybe Kali/Kali/Ra/Sun Quan/Izanami*/Kali would be worth a try. My Kali execution is still poor, but this is a great place to practice and I'd love another Bubpy for Beyzul.

*Or maybe Drawn Joker. I never thought I'd say this, but I wish I had Kurone. Or a skillupped Grape Dragon.
