Player Turn
LaserTurtle warms up by stretching his legs. He then moves left, up, and slide kicks Wriggle for 2 damage.
Patorikku moves left once and slashes at the danmaku spawner, despawning the spawner. He then tries to stab Wriggle, but is too far away to do so.
Miniking1 examines the area, but finds nothing of interest. He then defends.
Raitaki moves left once, but cannot hit Wriggle from here, and Patorikku is taking the next best space. Moving left twice more would leave him vulnerable to damage, so in the interest of staying alive, he does not proceed forwards.
Kasu heals The Hating Hater twice for 3HP total (+6EXP).
aUsernameIsFineToo moves left once, and fires at the bug, defeating it instantly. It gives no EXP, as it was too weak to do so (basically, has a base EXP value of 1, and level 3 means we'd divide by 4. I round to the nearest tenth, and 0.25 goes to 0).
Smashy argues against GM, and moves down. He punches the spawner, tired of being shot all the time. He then eats an apple, healing 5HP.
MewMewHeart heals an unmatched sock for 2HP (+4EXP).
bigyihsuan researches Wriggle.
"Well, you guys have dealt with this youkai for the most part, so let's skim over some of these details...her stats are HP: 50, SP: 10, ATK: 3, DEF: 0, SPE: 3, SPD: 3. Her HP and SP pools are rather large, but nothing else stands out about this enemy. Her real threat are her spell cards. You've dealt with most of them, but the spell card "Firefly Phenomenon" will cause Wriggle to spawn a small bug every turn, and whenever she uses a danmaku attack, she'll fire in the four main directions, up, down, left, and right. This spell card had costed her 2SP to use. Also, this youkai seems to have a last resort spell card, that only gives her one action per turn. However, at the end of her turn, she'll fire piercing danmaku in the previously mentioned directions, and normal danmaku in the diagonals. Be careful of this card. That's all I can find onto Wriggle Nightbug, now let's finish her off!"
He then moves down twice, as the lake blocks moving left.
an unmatched sock moves up once and right once, as otherwise, he wouldn't be able to stab the eye. He stabs Evil Eye 2, dealing 3 damage.
The Hating Hater moves left twice, and rams Wriggle, dealing 2 damage.

Enemy Turn
"You made a poor decision, fools!"
Wriggle Nightbug fires piercing danmaku in four directions (-1SP), hitting both The Hating Hater and LaserTurtle for 2 damage. She then moves up once, and does the same (-1SP), hitting Patorikku and Raitaki for 2 damage. Another bug has spawned!

Danmaku Spawner 3 fires at The Hating Hater for 2 damage.

Evil Eye 1 moves down twice and rams Miniking1 for 2 damage, and an unmatched sock for 0 damage.

Evil Eye 2 doesn't move at all, but instead rams an unmatched sock twice for (0+0) damage. He then fires danmaku at an unmatched sock for 2 damage, and at Miniking1 for 1 damage.

Evil Eye 3 moves left thrice, and rams MewMewHeart, dealing 1 damage.

Player Turn
LaserTurtle moves north twice and slide kicks the bug, defeating it. He attempts to slide kick Wriggle, but is too far away, so he simply moves closer.
Patorikku stabs Wriggle multiple times, dealing (2+2+2) damage. He proclaims victory over the bug, stating that she is instead, the fool who had made a poor decision.
Raitaki rains death upon Wriggle with Dark Bolts (4+4 damage)! Wriggle is defeated, as you hear a "pichuuunn~".  aUsernameIsFineToo, Smashy, and bigyihsuan each gain 50EXP. Everyone else in Western Exit gained 100EXP. Raitaki, Kasu, Patorikku, LaserTurtle, and The Hating Hater all leveled up! Everyone in Western Exit gained 24 Cash.
Miniking1 attacks Evil Eye 2 three times, dealing (2+2+2) damage.

The Hating Hater calculates that the rates of failure are 0%, and runs from the location of a previous danmaku spawner.
bigyihsuan moves closer to the group.
MewMewHeart fires magic at the Evil Eye attacking her, dealing 1 damage. She then retreats from it.

The party inside the Western Exit celebrates over their victory, but suddenly...

Enemy Turn
"I...refuse...I must...protect bugs everywhere...!"
Wriggle Nightbug fires back up again, ready to fight once more. She seems very unstable as she uses her Last Spell: Hidden Bug "Endless Night Seclusion." She moves back one space away from everyone. At the end of her turn, she fires piercing danmaku in all four directions. This danmaku goes through through Patorikku and Raitaki, dealing 2 damage to each of them. Normal danmaku fires in the four diagonals, hitting nobody.

Evil Eye 3 fires danmaku at Miniking1 and an unmatched sock, dealing 2 damage to the latter, and 1 damage to the former. The Evil Eye then goes left one, and lays Cursed Night onto Miniking1 (-1SP)! Miniking1 is blinded for three turns!

Western Exit Turn 13

Canal of Willows Turn 12

(So a thing about Last Spells. Just like in the Touhou games, you do not have to defeat this spell card. Doing so however, will grant extra EXP, like Touhou grants extra points. The catch is that if even one person dies, the card ends with no extra EXP. This also means that for a boss to use a Last Spell, no one is allowed to die during the fight. It's a handy way to become stronger for the next areas, but also requires careful planning to attempt the Last Spell. If you die during a Last Spell, nothing actually happens, just like in the Touhou games. Gotta keep some traditions the same, y'know?)
