> Take flight and, again giving the lake a wide berth, circle around the lake eastward until we are north of it. Once we are clear of the lake's fairies, head to the Hakurei Shrine.

>You depart and try to give the faeries around the lake a wide berth. This has the same problem as before, while trying to avoid faeries around the lake, you also have to avoid faeries that are over the eastern forest.  This takes a bit of doing, but you manage to pull it off and begin to make your way toward the Hakurei Shrine.
>Along the way, you find the faeries' activity is not just confined to the lake and forest; the fields beyond the forest also have a notable number of faeries flying around. Some are alone, some are in groups, and a few of them are busy clashing with each other. You manage not to draw any of their attention and continue along your trip, but you are certain this is as much due to being lucky enough not to draw their attention as anything. Soon you come to the forest around the Hakurei shrine, and are not surprised to see more active faeries, though the groups are smaller, and there is notably less visible danmaku flying. It is something of a relief as you see the shrine's clearing come into view.

>No. It wasn't like this this morning.
>You make your way to the shrine,  where you note a number of tables have been set up along the grounds. As few poles have been erected, ostensibly to hang banners from. The shrine itself is the same small thing of ancient lumber that it always has been, reasonably well maintained but always seemingly in danger of falling apart. You note that Reimu is sitting at one of the tables, dining on a dish of fried rice. You also note an oni napping under said table.
>She looks over as you land and enter the shrine grounds. "You're too early," she calls out. "Come back tomorrow!"
